21/3/2018 11:52 | WPCT up by 7.77% thus far today. It's going to the moon! | daffyjones
21/3/2018 10:59 | WPCT is now ranked 375 on the FTSE market cap leaderboard. Falls one more place before next review and it's out of the FTSE250. | cc2014
21/3/2018 10:39 | FFS this is terrible news. Purely engineered to squeeze shorts. Do the maths on this: PRTA close 20/3/18 $33.85 Celgene will make a $50 million equity investment in Prothena by subscribing to approximately 1.2 million of Prothena’s ordinary shares at $42.57 per share Is this not in breach of some fair market rules? | liquidkid
21/3/2018 09:45 | TROLL-FIB ALERT. TROLL-FIB ALERT hpcg's pants are on fire. LOL | trollwatch
21/3/2018 09:40 | Closed my short - for obvious reasons as the share price is going up. I'm not sure Celgene's 5% stake is material; it certainly isn't to 50 billion dollar market cap Celgene. They could buy the whole thing using a modicum of cash in their bank account. WPCT has of course been diluted, though at a higher than spot price. I'll go back to short here once the dust settles. | hpcg
21/3/2018 09:21 | More breaking news: ltcm1 has stopped to buy a nav-sat, which is exactly the same as a sat-nav but the other way round...... | littleweed1
21/3/2018 08:29 | Hold the Front Page!!!!!! News from big terraced house (£10 million) in Widnes, Cheshire: Minerve and Elmfield (Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men) have both shat their pants. ltcm1 has volunteered to clean them up: last seen heading for Truro which is 'nearby'. jonwig offering 'moral support'. topvest tried to top himself but missed. more soon.......... | littleweed1
21/3/2018 08:10 | As you say simples...However external validation of companies and their valuations when there have been coordinated and it would seem ill researched attacks on the holdings is very important and may well reassure investors and result in a narrowing of the discount to NAV.Be good to see Purplebricks steady up I grant you...not impossible that in the coordinated short attacks on Woodford related holdings that there is short interest across his larger list of holdings...so could see some buybacks across the board? | kooba
21/3/2018 07:50 | Still very good news imo as a Prothena collapse would do huge reputational damage to the Woodford brand. Hopefully Woody can prove the doubters like me wrong. Maybe the guy does know what he is doing when it comes to WPCT. I still don't like his EI fund rationale though. It is very exposed if growth is lower than his 2% forecast. And the Capita, AA and PFG investments are of concern here. | ltcm1
21/3/2018 06:58 | Simple maths: a 20% rise in 10% of the portfolio (Prothena) gives a 2% rise in NAV. A 100% rise would give a 10% rise in NAV. Ceteris paribus, of course. So maybe a 2p rise today could be on the cards. Any more would be a triumph of hope, especially since PURP (8%) is going the other way. | jonwig
21/3/2018 06:29 | Big news on Prothena after hours stock jumped 20% +https://www.nasdaq. | kooba
20/3/2018 16:07 | Nearly 3 weeks into March and still no February update? Obviously very keen to tell you bulls the good news! ROFLMAO! | minerve
20/3/2018 13:13 | Is this Woodford chasing more rainbows in the dreaming spires??? PURP coming down like a ton of bricks. WPCT needs a 40% rise just to get back even. They should call it WMPCT. You don't have to be mad to invest here - but it helps!!! | ltcm1
19/3/2018 22:09 | Down she goes..... | rackers1
19/3/2018 20:28 | The posters here who have called this down have saved me a few bob. Thanks | orinocor
19/3/2018 20:25 | Well the chart looks dreadful. Think reality is starting to set in (i.e. the NAV is overstated). Worrying thing for Woodford is that we are in a Fintech bubble. What's this going to look like in a bear market if this is what it looks like in a bull market? | topvest
19/3/2018 18:23 | littleweed1, born on this day, how sad you use time in this way, Minerve's 3rd digit, better endowed than your widget, is better for use in this way ➡️ | minerve
19/3/2018 18:08 | New closing low | toffeeman |
