Presumably JM has me filtered in the light of their most recent message. But the "on the scam" allegation directed at me is inaccurate. My position is one of cautious positivity. I have been critical of those attempting to pump the share and also critical of those attempting to poop the share. It is those individuals who are on the scam and shareholders need to be aware that that there are not just pumpers but also poopers, who will deride a share in the hope of purchasing it at the lowest possible price.

Fenners, based on the 90 per cent drop you refer to and if you originally posted here at that time, then your first post must have been a couple of years back. I am sorry I do not recollect your earlier postings. But it does not disturb my opinion that if someone is taking time out of their one life to make repeated postings about a share, they are not doing so out of altruism.

btw I believe that your first post on this site regarding WBI appeared far more recently than a 90% drop in price. But do refer me to any earlier post from your good self than when the NOMAD resigned as I may be mistaken.

I fear that may be an imaginary friend you refer to. But I view you as an ally as your continued kind attention to WBI with your one life gives me the impression that you see an upside for this share.

I had a look at WBI because a friend asked me to.
After that they never entertained any thoughts about buying the shares and subsequently have not lost 90%+ of their investment - purely coincidental of course , no advice given, I just asked the pertinent questions....

btw Fenners, you used the word "conspiracy". I am not certain if you know its meaning, but I don't really see you as somebody who would be working with others but rather very much as a lone wolf and in the interests of a lone wolf.

You do realise of course that the share price has declined from about 8p to 0.28p in the last few years?

Your conspiracy theory has zero substance to it , as to people bashing this share to get more cheaper , the company has done that all by itself.
Were the Bank that ditched them, the director that got removed with no notice , the management that shut off production, the overheads that led to years of losses , the resignation of the nomad , the inability to get any meaningful sales of carbon credits etc etc all part of the conspiracy to get the share a little lower ?

Good luck with you fantasies , perhaps you should now take advantage of your conspiracy and bet the house on this one....

Maybe take a bit of time out to check out your local estate agents...

JM they'll not be harvesting suckers, they'll be harvesting trees now.

I saw on another site a suggestion of WBI focussing just on the carbon credits side of things. I think there is good money to be made in timber.

With the new directorial appointments, which are intended to engender responsibility for assisting the company with AIM rule compliance (at the heart of which is protecting the best interests of shareholders), I am hoping that the company can start making a tidy sum from the timber and veneer.

It is good to see the company trading again on AIM and with a new NOMAD in place.

There will have been some scooping further the pooping going on during the first day back trading and in the near future.(The poop and scoop is the practice of bashing a share in the hope of encouraging others to sell so that it can be picked up at a low price). This share has previously been affected by the pump and dump and more recently the poop and scoop. (New faces appearing on WBI boards, including this one, who have never taken any interest in WBI before and are suddenly spending their one life making scathing remarks about it).


Owning this share has been a bumpy ride in the last few years. (I hope to get a part in "Woodbois the movie" when it comes out). Here's hoping for a period of calm and steady growth.

The new non-executives are there to protect Allenby as Nomad and ensure that WBI complies with its AIM obligations. Without them in place Allenby wouldn't do the Nomad job. The statement today hints that this is the cost of the shares being traded on AIM.

Its pretty obvious where the company's focus is given the 2 new non-executive director appointments ....
and it's not operations or making a logging and veneer company profitable.

Its - "capital markets and regulatory experience" "particularly in transactions, fund raising,"

funnily enough those are just the skills that narrative lifestyle companies need...

Well done WBI on returning to AIM! I think the AIM community pulled out all the stops to get this done. What with the Reeves budget and companies withdrawing from AIM it is nice to see an AIM listing being saved. The brokers are likely to try and organise another placing to top up the finances now that there's some clarity about the company's future.

The next update will be on Monday. Either they have pulled off a miracle and got a Nomad in place so the shares can return to AIM or the London Stock Exchange will issue a notice at 8am saying WBI's admission to AIM is cancelled.

Yes Julie time is ebbing away. At the very latest I'd say they would have to have everything in place by the end of this week for a return to AIM on Monday morning next week. It seems improbable but technically possible. Otherwise the company will be matched bargain only I presume as arranged by the company itself.
