08/7/2023 12:50 | I have seen an article with an interview with Hugh Wade-Jones in which he says he no longer drinks, which is a healthy and healthful response to the Court case involving intoxication. Intriguingly, John Scott is one of the Keepers of the Spirit for the Monaco Whisky and Spirits Club. It is worth reading the details of the other Keepers. It strikes me as rather like a list of the characters in an Agatha Christie novel. Certainly they are a very eminent group of Keepers www.monacowhisky-spi | odillon

29/6/2023 17:04 | I have done a little background reading on the two new investors introduced by Miles Pelham. I very much like what I have seen about the Scottish investor. I am a little worried about the other investor having been found guilty (some years ago) of making off without paying a taxi fare, although I note that the Court did not take the view that there was dishonesty but rather that it came about as a result of him being extremely drunk - the accused conceded the drunkenness and asserted that he believed he had paid the fare. | odillon
29/6/2023 07:10 | Am being offered over .77p | blue59
28/6/2023 16:43 | Surprised as even the most optimistic posters would be they got funding away at 0.5 pence. 0.25 to 0.3 would be nearer realistic expectations. 1.2 billion warrants at 1 pence will be a massive limiting factor - no doubt. Buying in at 0.5 and converting warrants at 1 pence.. Well that is doubling their investment. Peeps will have in mind the level of 0.5 pence if they were to buy in for the long haul...if not lower as it normally goes as most will be aware. Then they need to sort the business to make it properly investable. I read the RNS twice as surprised they got such a deal regarding the finance which is to their credit in fairness. Must be a massive consolidation coming soon I suspect. | mattab
28/6/2023 14:10 | Can't understand the need for 1.2billion warrants at 1p - Kills the share price - | tomboyb
28/6/2023 13:48 | Wow that's some confetti handed out . Billions of warrants lol . Keep away from this you lose all your money if your thinking of holding . Total Dog warrant kill any company. AIM at its dodgy best | goforgold1
28/6/2023 12:33 | We don't have a team if Ollie Pope isn't batting at home! PS Am Guildford born and bred. | blue59
28/6/2023 12:24 | Blue well Lancashire skittled out Surrey just down the road - which was pretty amazing! | hosede
28/6/2023 09:23 | Good start to the day, now just need to win the toss at Lords! Edit: Now we just need to skittle them out before Tea. | blue59
28/6/2023 07:11 | Agreed Yas - Although warrants put a ceiling here - | tomboyb
28/6/2023 07:02 | Fools and money are easily parted and the fools here are those with open short positions. Readers may wish to consider that the entire 'placing' has gone to two HNW (High Net Worth) individuals who will hold their shares for a significant return. The tide has turned for WBI therefore. | yasxii
28/6/2023 06:46 | So time for the churn as they say 1.2billon shares to churn | johnjames876
28/6/2023 06:40 | So issuing an amount of new shares at over 50% of current voting shares New voting shares issued 1,260,000,000 Current voting shares 2,426,850,726 Welcome to the world of massive dilution and all at a price paid lower than most... | fenners66
19/6/2023 18:21 | Given the late price action & volume one would expect news is imminent, they remain quiet on the possible sale & leaseback of the Gabon properties, now what would happen if they sold those for $15m as implied by a recent RNS. | yasxii
19/6/2023 14:45 | 0.2 I would expect. Consolidation with two zeros taken off the share count in addition. Best case I would think. | mattab
19/6/2023 12:40 | Not before a consolidation! | blue59
19/6/2023 12:22 | Is a placing ahoy now .at what price do we think | toolsmoker
12/6/2023 06:32 | yasX11 - getting the $2m payment for the farm (debacle) would be a start! As far as I can ascertain the buyer defaulted on the first instalment and I can't find any further mention of it being paid (happy to be contradicted). | blue59
12/6/2023 05:33 | How short the book is here, if there is no placing it could get very interesting. Wonder how the Real Estate broker is getting on concerning the Gabon properties, $15m would do nicely right now. No doubt at all, the masses are watching WBI. | yasxii
11/6/2023 23:35 | tonyt2 Your underlying opportunity is narrative, its a concept a possibility- the objective numbers in the accounts as those that I have picked some of and posted above are reality. Management of a business in a faraway land that is making losses and writes off assets bought only recently has 2 employees in "carbon solutions" and that subsidiary burns $2.25m in 2 years show that there is a gulf between concept and reality. | fenners66
11/6/2023 19:51 | I've owned this stock for 3 years and have traded on big moves but am offside at this time(my net is long @2p)IF the refinancing is secured, which I believe it will be, there is significant upside on a 5 year view. Last week's RNS laid all the cards on the table, which was crucial for the management to retain a shred of credibility. There's an underlying business that produces a tangible product that's constantly in demand and the potential for the carbon offset market is huge. I'm personally very happy to hold this stock for the long term but am also fully aware that the game's over if refinancing is not secured. The mere fact that the stock didn't fall further after the latest RNS speaks volumes. IMHO | tonyt2 |
