24/10/2024 18:12 | Quite right Jack. Whatever financial grievances may be held (rightly or wrongly) those who feel wronged need to look to any legal forms of redress. Threatening company officers and their families is inexcusable. On the pause in work mentioned in the latest RNS, it is worth remembering that the company reported this previously in the 18 September RNS, so shareholders who read the earlier RNS were made aware of this. | odillon
23/10/2024 09:00 | Notable - that yesterdays RNS did not address the answers to the questions it posed ! | fenners66
23/10/2024 07:43 | It is notable that in yesterday's RNS the company has called out "numerous false, fake and misleading postings across various unregulated social media platforms". The reference to unregulated is a fair point. When a company puts out an RNS they are responsible for the content. Whereas posters to media platforms can pretty much mislead to their heart's content. Media platforms take almost no responsibility for such comments and generally speaking those posting inaccurate comment do so with impunity. It is in the interests of transparency that the company has stated that there is no guarantee negotiations with the new Nomad will be successful. In any contractual negotiation there may be gaps with regard to terms and conditions that cannot be breached. As a shareholder I hope that the negotiations are successfully concluded. The fact that there are ongoing negotiations suggests that, whatever the reason was for CG resigning as NOMAD it was not a matter that would preclude another Nomad from representing the company. It is very troubling to read that officers of the company have been subjected to intimidation, including threats against family members. But it is good that this is being investigated by police forces as this will, I hope, assist company officers and their families to stay safe and free from intimidation and allow company officers to focus on on moving the company forward. | odillon

22/10/2024 16:02 | I keep getting the hotel room machete scene from Casino Royale popping into my head 🤔 | juliemara
22/10/2024 11:01 | "beavering away" at not giving shareholders the complete picture... No explanation of why the nomad resigned. "a new NOMAD, though there can be no certainty these discussions will be successfully concluded." Why not? Adding lots of cost - 2 new "directeurs" and other specialist support "strengthen our financial and operational controls" - suggesting they were inadequate - which means what already happened ? Unpaid salaries in recent months, not surprising then poor labour relations. Why not paid ? New terms of employment - higher wages ? "restart our paused production" - not a surprise if staff not paid ! shipping pre-sold stock - unhappy customers threats reported to police in multiple countries - how many countries are directors spread over - clearly difficult to monitor financial and operational controls then Did not inform the market of missing £0.24m from sale of warrants previously - maybe going legal against , the shareholder ? Not received the proceeds of a placing - presumably was to keep the company afloat ? Given some of that has seemingly come out reluctantly - what else are they not saying. Looks like the disaster it was always assumed to be.... | fenners66
22/10/2024 10:19 | Company update is out. Seems the management are beavering away trying to sort out multiple problems. Any new Nomad has a tough job on their hands! | kinwah
18/10/2024 17:13 | Juliemara, at least there is plenty of wood in the picture. The subscription seems to have gone ahead after a fashion with half the target money being raised by Axis. I have only ever seen AIM fundraisings being conditional on the new shares being admitted to AIM. Admission can only happen if the company has a NOMAD and AIM lifts the suspension. The clock is ticking with just 3 weeks left to get everything sorted otherwise the company might have to drop down to AQSE or some other market. | kinwah
18/10/2024 13:55 | hxxps://topinfosgabo I'd love to have been a fly on the wall at that meeting! 🤔 | juliemara
15/10/2024 07:44 | I'm pretty certain I have never helped a little old lady I did not know , across a road. Using your logic - since I have never done it, it cannot actually be helpful or altrusistic to help a little old lady across the road..... | fenners66
15/10/2024 07:12 | Back filtered for muttering to yourself into the night. | juliemara
14/10/2024 20:25 | JK knows about AAA - as I understand it in that case the company chose a situation in which they would have to leave AIM which created the conflict of interest. But it indicates that there are different reasons for NOMAD's resigning and in the case of WBI they are seeking to remain on AIM via the process of engaging a new NOMAD. | odillon
14/10/2024 19:48 | Here is an example where a NOMAD had to resign immediately because of a conflict of interest. I am not saying that, in the case of WPI, this is what has happened. But my point is that there can be different reasons for a NOMAD resignations and as we stand no reason has been given. | odillon
14/10/2024 19:44 | fenners, I believe that it is answering the question within the context of this discussion. | odillon
14/10/2024 19:18 | That's not actually answering the question. | fenners66
14/10/2024 19:00 | fenners - I've never honed in on an AIM share I have no financial interest in and posted multiple negative or positive posts about it over over a period of months. I think that would be an extremely niche life choice. | odillon
14/10/2024 18:55 | Kinwah, that's a fair point and you may be correct about the reason, but I would just say that in other instances where there is a NOMAD that resigns because they have taken the view that they can no longer represent due to a failure on the part of a company, it seems to be the case that non NOMAD brokers also resign at the same time and it also seems odd to me that Canacoord did not cite the Axis deal as the resignation reason or offer any other reason. I also come back to the point that the NOMAD resignation RNS indicates that WBI were already looking for a new NOMAD before Canacoord resigned. I haven't seen anything along those lines in any other NOMAD resignation notices. | odillon
14/10/2024 18:47 | And you Never tried to help anyone else in that one life ? | fenners66
14/10/2024 18:41 | Jack Jebb I think that you misunderstand me. I am not objecting to posters having different views and I welcome debate. What I am saying is that I don't believe somebody would devote a considerable amount of time to putting posts on a particular board over a long period if they didn't have a financial interest in the share. To me that would be a perverse thing to do given that you've only got one life to live. | odillon
14/10/2024 18:37 | Kaos 3 It's good that you are in profit - all power to your elbow | odillon
14/10/2024 18:35 | JM if you were looking at it as a short term trader, there have been many times when the price has gone up after you have made negative comments. It has also gone up at times when I have sought to be more positive. But I admire your Chutzpah of popping up and making the I'm always right you're always wrong claim when it suits. But, crucially, I am not a short term trader and I have made that clear and I have never predicted any short term miracles and so I have never been wrong to date. | odillon
14/10/2024 14:55 | My view of why the Nomad resigned with immediate effect is that they couldn't allow the subscription to proceed under their watch. A curiosity of AIM is the Nomad is responsible for the behaviour of the AIM company and its compliance with the AIM rules. The brokers on the other hand are not held to such high standards of professional integrity and it doesn't matter a jot as the buck rests with the Nomad. If Nomads are unhappy and find the situation intolerable then resignation is the only option. | kinwah |
