What a depressing set of results. The company is spread too thin on too many divisions and structures.

And no mention of the ongoing shortfall on the board.

There are positive trends underneath; less reliance on self employed commissions, less income from clients' deposits and financial planning moving towards profitability, but I suspect there's a lot more pain to come.

Outsourcing is clearly a good idea, let us hope the regulatory aspect now has been covered off, revenues/gross profits absolutely fine......

What's the risk of delisting here?

Why go to all this trouble of listing, reporting and governance code etc for a company worth £7m ?

The board is so stale. Everyone's been there a long time.

The CEO and FD made more than the company last year.

There is clearly some value here, unless there are liabilities somewhere... leases, dodgy investments. Seems like an activist investor on the board would work wonders..

Agreed, but does it delay addressing the fundamental issues the business has?

You d think someone would pay a premium to put this out of its misery. As it is , seems too small to be relevant or make decent money.

I am clearly 'long and wrong' but the value here is eye watering.......just on the Discretionary book alone it is worth double the share price, oh and net cash is also more than the market cap, truly incredible....

Why is it taking so long to appoint new NEDs?

Clive Bouch's resignation was announced on 14th June. 10 weeks ago now.

But in the annual results, the chair said he was 'grateful to him for deferring the step by several months'

So surely they've had plenty of time to find someone.

Especially if 'Clive's resignation leaves the governance of the Group short of what is required by the UK Corporate Governance Code'
