Posted at 17/10/2024 13:54 by chrisdgb I am clearly 'long and wrong' but the value here is eye watering.......just on the Discretionary book alone it is worth double the share price, oh and net cash is also more than the market cap, truly incredible.... |
Posted at 27/8/2024 11:19 by davydoo Re reading the accounts, I've realised that the 750,000 shares the company owns in itself were bought for £312,000, for an average of over 40p per share.Surely they should be buying more now, when the share price is half that, and their net cash is well above the current mkt cap |
Posted at 06/8/2024 12:25 by clarityjones How many shares do we all have? All post your share holding below? I have started a 11k position |
Posted at 05/7/2024 19:46 by small cap value investor1 I am picking up any shares that are availableThis company has £15m cash which at 5% should produce £750,000 per annum market cap sub £10M They should earn a small margin on Clients cash balances This would be enough to provide a 10% Dividend return at the current share price They have stockbroking, investment management and pensions business that must have some value Is it too good to be true I am going to continue filing my boots |
Posted at 10/6/2024 21:41 by freedomexpress747 Never been a holder, but this share makes me chuckle... a 5 year old could create value here!! Perhaps the only way to shake things up would be to close up all the over 65 only bars near their offices!Really chaps, can't you do any better? |
Posted at 24/5/2024 08:40 by baddeal Meteoric rise, I'm overcome with excitement from the LSEs dullest share :) |
Posted at 23/5/2024 09:36 by chrisdgb Let's face it, it should at least be 30p per share..... |
Posted at 11/4/2024 09:16 by arthur_lame_stocks I still think WCW would be far better off as part of a larger Investment manager and there's been an awful lot of consolidation in the sector.I bought a few more today and this is one of my largest investments. I take a lot of comfort from the fact that the market cap is underpinned entirely by cash and they pay a dividend. At the moment it looks as close to a one way bet upwards as you're ever going to find. |
