19/10/2024 11:58 | PWhite - And what do BeDimensional and Black Swan have in common to help them secure investment? Have a look at their professional management structures and it will provide a big clue - and will show you a major reason why. Have a look at their sleek and professional websites and compare them to ours - and imagine what a new Versarien would look like with a brand new professional management team at the helm - that has innovative diverse ideas and networks. There is no value proposition at Versarien whilst we have the same people we have always had holding the power. | 1manchild
19/10/2024 11:01 | Money is now been thrown at graphene companies. The time has arrived. October 18, 2024 "Italy’s BeDimensional secures €20M from EIB to produce graphene and other 2D materials: Exclusive interview with CEO Vittorio Pellegrini" 17 Oct 2024 EDT "Black Swan Graphene (TSX-V:SWAN) announced that Concretene, its UK-based concrete partner, has secured £3 million (C$5.4 million) in financing, co-led by Molten Ventures and LocalGlobe." | pwhite73
19/10/2024 10:39 | 1retirement - "The question you should be asking is, can they loan those shares out to be shorted." The answer is yes. Shorting among MM and brokers is a guaranteed winner because they cover their shorts by subscribing for discount placing shares. For example if they short at 0.03p they could buy back at 0.02p on the next placing. The problem for VRS is that 746 million at 0.02p would raise only £149k before expenses. Why the share price has not been able to make any traction irrespective of any news is because of the constant shorting and the forward selling of discount shares. This element has now been removed to a substantial degree because there is no point in forward selling 746 million shares for 0.020p. To make the forward selling of 746 million worthwhile they need a higher share price which could spell trouble for anybody shorting in the 0.03p range. The next AGM is not due until April 2025. If VRS can't find another source of income an alternative would be to call another GM to issue more shares. The last such GMs were held in July 2023, October 2023 and January 2024. | pwhite73
19/10/2024 08:18 | Just a quickie for you PW. As the share price drops to 30 shares to the penny are we still being guided by you? | bbmsionlypostafter mk2
19/10/2024 08:07 | Nice one, Just predicted texting. Your language is very good so I'll take your advice. | deltalo
18/10/2024 22:35 | The question you should be asking is, can they loan those shares out to be shorted. Don't forget the 750m shares still to be placed at some point. Ever decreasing circles! | 1retirement
18/10/2024 16:03 | PWhite73 - 23 May 2024 - 16:51:21 - 18832 of 19590 Versarien - Bulls and bears thread - VRS My stance has not change. If they raise lower than the last placing (0.125p) I will admit I called this wrong from the date I started posting here. | kemche
18/10/2024 16:01 | Font scooping up all the cheap shares. Lucky sod. PWhite731 Oct '24 - 10:07 - 19479 of 19588 0 0 1 If it drops to 0.04p see it as an opportunity to buy. VRS is a growing company in a growing market, graphene, low carbon admixtures, and 3D Printing. Speak Later | kemche
18/10/2024 15:41 | fuji - "6.59% of cold air." Don't know about cold air but the figure is certainly misleading. Its 6.59% prior to the new admission on 22/10/2024 and it drops to 4.12% when the placing shares are admitted on 22/10/2024. | pwhite73
18/10/2024 15:27 | Surely not forward buying again? | kemche
18/10/2024 15:21 | 6.59% of cold air. | fuji99
18/10/2024 12:29 | As pointed out by willoicc on the other VRS thread - the mighty Cantor Fitzgerald acquired 6.59% of VRS shares on Wednesday this week. Most likely a transient holding on behalf of others, but "Cantor Fitzgerald now hold 6.59% of Versarien" would be useful PR-wise if mischievously circulated. ;-) (Not that I would do so) | grabster
18/10/2024 12:13 | That would be my guess too. Though "Cantor Fitzgerald now hold 6.59% of Versarien" would be useful PR-wise if mischievously circulated. ;-) | grabster
18/10/2024 11:26 | No, the 17th was the day Cantor notified the markets. The 16th was the day they crossed the 3% threshold. Furthermore I doubt Cantor would be interested in a tiny outfit like VRS. I suspect they are holding on behalf of a client. Maybe one of the construction companies VRS is collaborating with. | pwhite73
18/10/2024 11:16 | It would appear Cantor Fitzgerald bought on the open market on the 17th, a day after the placing. The placing shares haven't yet been issued and the placing was on the 16th. | clint fleecewood
18/10/2024 10:37 | Take all that guff ^^^ to the bank & see how much VRS can borrow on the back of it! | bbmsionlypostafter mk2
18/10/2024 10:33 | "We've had a productive couple of days at Highways UK! Our Head of 3D Construction Printing, Ben Harries, was kept busy at the Keyline Civils Specialist stand, while Stephen Hodge and Senior Scientist Dr Daniele Annicchiarico MIMMM met with clients, collaborators, and explored exciting new opportunities for trialing Cementene™ and 3DCP on construction projects. We also took part in Roads Research Alliance (RRA) meetings and enjoyed an informative panel talk from several RRA members on strengthening collaborations between industry and academia." | pwhite73
18/10/2024 10:25 | No. MMs are not required to issue TR1s and they never let other MMs or the markets in general know how many shares they are holding, it gives the whole game away. It is a genuine hold by Cantor Fitzgerald as they are required to notify the markets by law. How long they hold is anybody's guess. | pwhite73
18/10/2024 10:23 | Cantor Fitzgerald holds 6.59%. Is that as MM? | willoicc
