The burn rate is substantial for a consultancy company with next to no manufacturing now. They are only selling their time and clearly not very well.

Losers gonna lose. Lets hope AIM is closed and rolled into the main market with detritus like this, which should never have been listed, swept up into the dustbin where it belongs.

So as they're burning GBP 175k per month, and correspondingly have been raising, by Placings, around 500k every 2 to 4 months you are saying VRS need to do one of the following by/before January:1. Reorganise capital structure.2. Call an EGM to get permission to issue more shares.3. Delist.4. Fold.I cannot see another option.

"However that they have a graphene scientist at the helm is a big plus it convinces the industry they are not dealing with a spiv."

A graphene scientist ! Someone who cannot find a job anywhere else per chance ?

Otherwise what kind of scientist is he ? Someone who cannot sleep at night because he cannot be sure his next month salary is at risk ?

The company is raising money because there is no possibility to pay salaries and play golf in Barbados.

zydecoco - I do honestly believe this is the bottom now. Firstly they cannot place again without calling a GM as they have only 746 million shares left to issue. If they place at 0.03p that's only £223k. If the share price is lower its even less money. Its not worth the effort as the fees would take up about half that raise.

The nominal value is 0.010p so there can be more 99% falls from here and another raise. The most the stock can fall is another 66% if they want to raise again without a capital reorganisation.

At some point and this will happen soon the progress the company is making in the field of graphene and 3D printing will catch up with the low market cap of only £1.2 million.

I've said right from the start it is the industry they are in that will turn their fortunes around as opposed to any magical management team. However that they have a graphene scientist at the helm is a big plus it convinces the industry they are not dealing with a spiv.

PW73, Let's cut through the trajectory rubbish: Do you predict the next Placing will be higher or lower than today's of 0.0325p ?

The company is raising regularly because it needs the cash just to keep going PW73. The cited development opportunities are a way to get that cash to continue. - anything at all would do just to keep the train going.

They raised £450k, meaning they will be proudly closing 2024 with champagne.
More new stories are being prepared - as we write - for 2025; for what ? Raising more dosh of course.
These are the real business challenges for 2025 and beyond: How to raise money ?
RNS expert is already at it.

Of course NR will be proud: From 185p to 3/100p (all from a golf course) - Unless it's a share split "to allow new investors to buy the stock at last" ! It must only be this scenario.

Thats your opinion Shammy but there is NO WAY this will go further south. The MCAP is ridiculously low compared to what they have in hand. This will definitely go up -- just a matter of when.

Nobody is saying this will go stupid but there's an easy few bags in this. Looking forward to the Balfour Beatty developments.

The company is raising regularly because development opportunities are presenting themselves. That the CEO and executives are swanning around in Lamborghinis, Teslas and buying £2 million country houses is simply not true.

The NEC Exhibition starts today 16/10/2024.

"Over the next couple days, Versarien® plc will be attending Highways UK at the NEC. Our Head of 3D Construction Printing Ben Harries will be alongside Keyline Civils Specialist, supporting in bringing new innovative products and services to the Highways sector. "

At about 33 shares to the penny VRS shares are now actually cheaper per sheet than toilet paper.

There is every way this stays at this level and drops further. placing after placing after placing - needs GBP 175k a month to keep going and will be back for more money somehow (anyhow!) in / before New Year

Well theres the placing out the way. I feel bad for LTH but for anyone new joining the party, this is likely the bottom that it will EVER be.

They have over 4M in contracts and partnered with Balfour Beatty for 3D printing concrete.

Theres no way this stays at this level. Absolute gift.

I remember VRS going from 3p to about 100p one time and it feels like this is going to be another 10+ bagger from current share price with an MCAP of 700K. Unbelievable opportunity for investors (not day traders)
