Just for one week, the contest is being brought back at the request of reader Juicin. The rules are slighty changed in honour of Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS). What we are looking for is the most moroniic comment on shares on the LSE, iii or ADVFN Asylums or twitter. But this week you can also add in comments on the private Discord chat room where Ricketts tells lies to investors without his Nomad, hapless Quindell loving Bobbie Hilliam at Canaccord, knowing anything about it! The deadline for entry is midnight on Sunday 12 January

so crystal clear they're no further forward than they were two years ago. Yes, plenty of expressions of interest and even offers, but no closer to agreeing terms for an actual deal.

So my questions would be:

1/ When Ricketts said in July (think it was) 2019 that he hoped to have a BIGT deal in place by the AGM, what led him to believe that?

2/ Why was such a deal not, in fact, done in that timescale?

3/ What is the latest timescale for such a deal to be done?

Brownie points for posting on New Year's Day and all, but to me that just reeks of desperation and self-justification from a serial failure.

but not a single signed contract.

if the time, effort and money that has been poured into China on a wild goose chase had been used instead to get supply contracts over the line with Unilever, DDP, Nike etc etc we'd have several such in place now, the revenues would be flowing, the share price would be many multiples of what it is now, the critics would be silenced and VRS would be firing on all cylinders.

2 years of effort and the best they can come up with is some Heath Robinson sci-fi system for machines controlled by remote control from HK or the UK? Laughable. If that's the best they've got they should just walk away, forget all about it and go back in three or five years...
