Rat, i’ve been invested since sub 20p, am a lth and although I no longer have multi hundred k investment I still have a significant holding, just find the reliance on Twitter and over exuberance as tiring as the Kempster and Club Moron nonsense.

Your multiple replies do a beautiful job of highlighting my thoughts entirely and show you are not a balanced investor 🙈

The RNS will come and when it does I don’t think anyone on this board is going to believe how big this China deal has got.
As Neill has said since the 2018 AGM he will only sign when he has the best deal available on the table , after all he is the largest shareholder.

I've been in and out of VRS since it was down at 18p but haven't been trading in a while. Last traded it in the 70p region and watched it all the way down to 55p around Xmas 2017. Looking at getting back in as I love the management and it's a great play. Anyone give me a quick update on the state of the Chinese deal and the "BIGT" Maybe superg?? Always had great posts prior to me selling. Thanks

Nice to see the rise recently, but would be great for a meaty revenue related Chinese RNS to appear, we may get past £1.30 then...

The selling this am makes me chuckle, who are these people who buy because they think a few retweets and likes adds up to 5 when 2&2 are added together?

Xi’s speech seems a significant step on China’s road to world economic leadership (domination?). I have yet to decide whether to be horrified or thrilled by this thought. My heart says terrified but my wallet is definitely thrilled.

It is certainly one in the eye for Trump’s belligerent attitude to World trade.

Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the opening of the second China International Import Expo on Tuesday.

Xi extended warm welcome to all guests. In a keynote speech delivered at the opening ceremony, Xi said he believes that all friends could come with pleasure and return with satisfaction.

China has made major progress in expanding import to promote consumption and cutting tariffs as part of the country's efforts to further open up its market, Xi said.

All of the five measures to expand opening-up announced at the previous CIIE have been generally implemented, Xi said.

Countries should uphold the concept of putting humanity first and should not let their own interest override that of mankind, Xi said.

Xi urged resolute opposition to protectionism and unilateralism in a bid to jointly build a world economy of openness and cooperation.

Xi proposed continuous reduction of trade barriers and further improvement of global value and supply chains to jointly nurture market demand.

Xi called on countries to oppose knowledge blockade to avoid creating or even widening technological divide.

Xi also urged jointly strengthening protection of intellectual property rights.

Xi put forward three proposals for economic globalization at the opening of the second China International Import Expo.

Jointly building an open and cooperative world economy; Jointly building an open and innovative world economy; Jointly building an open and sharing world economy.

Xi called for efforts to uphold the core values and basic principles of the multilateral trading regime, and promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation.

China will pay more attention to the role of import and continue to open up its market, Xi said.

Steps will be taken to further cut tariffs and institutional costs, nurture a batch of innovative demonstration zones for import facilitation, and expand import of high-quality products and services from other countries, Xi said.

Xi said the country will further ease market access for foreign investment and shorten the negative list.

China will continue to improve the business environment to make it more market-oriented, law-based and internationalized, Xi said.

Xi pledged that China will adopt five measures to promote higher-level opening up:

A total of 155 countries and regions as well as 26 international organizations are attending the second China International Import Expo, which is held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.

The exhibition area covers around 360,000 square meters. Sixty-four countries will host country exhibitions and 3,893 companies are attending the business exhibitions, Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua said at the opening ceremony Tuesday.
