Luckily I don't give a toss about which category of poster i am considered to be, by whoever wishes to spend their time categorising ;-)

Frivolous squabbling is something I am happy to leave to frivolous squabblers.

Good post, Woody, I'm right there with you.

Ignore the current sp, market shenanigans and predictable doom-mongering, the company is only progressing in the right direction :)

Well I would probably be classed as one of the biggest bulls on here (if that's possible as a girl!?!)... I don't have anyone on filter, I read every post (time permitting) and make my own decisions based on EVERYTHING I read...

I have a 'ticklist' which helps me be rational about my investment when the share price looks as though it isn't 'keeping track' with my expectations:

1- Is there a market for the product?
2- Is there anything happening in the world generally which might suggest that this could change?
3- Is the company likely to capture a 'reasonable' proportion of that market which justifies the sp?
4- Are the BOD still 'forward looking' ...ensuring that we are committing enough to R&D to ensure that we can retain our position as market leaders?
5-Is there anything to suggest that the directors aren't acting in the interests of shareholders?

All ticked...

Interesting that the EV report provides an insight into "Market timeline for the commercialisation of battery materials" with timeline and volume predictions.

10-100kg for testing of the cathode material performance 3-6 months
1-2 MT Full testing Year 1
100-200MT Selection and Award Year 1 - 2
500-1000MT Scale Up Year 2 - 3
Commercial Launch >2500MT 3 - 5

Further the report suggests Graphene batteries as the most viable option to Li-ion with 10-20x energy density gain and charging in a few minutes. With the technology currently impeded by lack of low cost mass production.

I see Andy as a calm realistic investor. However, attacks on bb's do affect those that are interactive or lurking and it has worked for shorters in the past on VRS but hopefully most are getting wise to it now.

They are busy elsewhere at the moment anyway with other less risky shorts.

"As Tim said, the bulls see any potential negative point as a threat to their wealth "Where did I say this mryl?

I think it’s fairly obvious who the wilful derampers are on here and I can safely say that Andy is not one of them. I have been on countless different bulletin boards over the years I have been on advfn. Andy has popped up on several companies' boards and I have always found him rational and balanced and fair in his posting. Does not mean I always agree with him, but I respect his opinion. So I suggest you direct your fire at the more obvious candidates, or as I do, ignore them completely.

Lol Andy why so defensive? I don't need to convince anyone of anything? The more you post the more obvious your agenda becomes. As I said, good luck with your strategy ;-)

JakNife,

Only instiution invested in Vaersarien seems to be the Cavendish AIM Fund:

Good performance by the fund but heavily reliant on Rockrose, with 12% of the fund invested in it.

A predictable response Andy. Good luck with your strategy;-)

-------

Of course it was predictable, because it's right! Only newbie retail investors become concerned about bearish posts, everyone else is focused on official company news, and that's what I go by, not BB posts made by unknown posters, be they bullish or bearish.

It's funny but nobody ever knocks a bullish poster, no matter how ridiculous their post, have you ever noticed that?

No "strategy" on my behalf, as much as you would like to convince people to believe there is.

Andy, you're wasting your time. There is no point trying to have a balanced discussion with the likes of Tim/grabster on one side, or loglorry/rainbow on the other. As Tim said, the bulls see any potential negative point as a threat to their wealth and therefore dismiss it and try to crush you straight away, in the case of Tim by using sarcasm and smileys, while the bears don't ever want to recognise any positive aspects of the business and focus only on perceived negative making them sound bigger than they are.
A shame really but that's how BBs work.

While we wait on tenterhooks, here’s some light reading (110 pages) in the form of some Citi ‘deep dive’ research on EV prospects and battery materials in particular.

See what gems you can pick out of this if you have the time; just don’t ask how I came by the document!
