Andy you have missed my point. I’m not necessarily talking about you or your comments and yes in the end value will come through of a decent stock just as it has with VRS from the 10p days compared to its peers. My point is that posts on here and other bbs twitter etc can influence sentiment and therefore the share price of aim companies. That is not the only factor I accept but a contributing factor none the less.

-------

No, I didn't miss your point, I am disagreeing with it.

I am saying that serious investors and large holders that have done their own research will not make buy and sell decisions based on BB comments. Only newbie retail investors are influenced by other people's posts, not sophisticated investors.

People that are invested here are invested for the potential, and therefore aren't going to be selling because an unknown poster called festario (for example) posts negatives all day.

Far better to filter that poster if you personally find his posts cause you angst, and then you personally can focus on the positive posters.

I personally prefer to read both sides for balance, but that's not for everyone I accept that.

It is interesting though, nobody can filter anyone, despite continually complaining about their posts, it must be a human trait.

So despite the requirement for a company to be in profit, and despite the lack of news as gleefully hailed by serial whingers and king of the bungle rainbow, institutional investors are beginning to break the rules. Its obvious that they can see this for what it is, a disruptive once in a lifetime opportunity. Anyone still trading this or shorting it is on borrowed time and must be dreading the inevitable intra day RNS. All aboard and GLALTH

NR's got 15,250,000 (plus options) reasons to get the BIGT deal over the line. Not just for his family but the VRS family. As mentioned, its not a binary bet on VRS but we all know it's a 'biggy' - not just for the capital injection but the channels to market / contacts within China. after all, 'If there is a will there is a way' to get the deal done.

Tim,

These are discussion boards, so when I make a comment, it's just that, a comment. I am not trying to influence the price of any stock, because value comes out in the end.

Most threads have far more bulls than bears, so if they did influence the price of a stock, as you suggest, they should all rise, yet they don't! I wonder why?

The market is a huge place, I bet you most people have not even heard of ADVFN, iii, LSE etc. etc.

Sorry Andy have to disagree with you there. I do think what is posted on bbs can affect the share price. Most share prices on aim are sentiment driven and sentiment can be affected by sustained negative ( or positive ) posting. If that was not the case we would not see so many people attempting to influence the price on platforms such as ADVFN.

With respect Andy - unless, your respond to the posts of the shorters or doomsters, their dribble may stand as fact. This is a forum. Not an ignore-them and they'll go away. I need to protect my Investments and if that means standing up to likes of Rainbow, then that is my prerogative.

"I need to protect my Investments"

Do you seriously believe what people post here is going to effect a company with a market cap of £169 million?

I know it's a PI company, rather than institutionally held, but even so one good RNS will determine the share price, not a few bears posting here.

Price is what you pay, value is what you get, and value always comes out in the end.....

Ash shhh

They have been collecting the shares in steady fashion for a while from the moaner PIs that have been selling.

Hence if the exiteers want back in, their shares have gone.

It's been the reverse of FOMO over the BIGT deal, so at least they are gone for when it lands, busy making losses elsewhere.
