Bigt is but a figment of the imagination of the majority of posters here. As the agm approaches with no sign of Bigt the share price decline will rapidly gather pace and the NR panty throwers will be left with much egg on many faces. This is a car crash in the making.

Already been done , its called Polygrene I think!

"Graphene will grow significantly once the interfacial coupling agent art becomes part of the fabric of the industry."

Sounds like a good opportunity for a licencing deal.

Grabster, re your comment and mine, I'd be pleased to hear some of the interview is wrong!

Sequoia, I've given your post 78056 re Kenrick a tick up for providing the information - not to indicate that I'm pleased with what your link contains. Clearly a very skilled and long established company that could become significant in the field of polymers augmented by graphene. I understood very little of the detail in their chief's interview, but it seems they might be addressing the aspects that HAYD has focused on but perhaps with far greater firepower. They don't make graphene itself, but seem to have the abilities to make future use of it in the heart of one of our application fields and to address the added value aspect.
All IMO of course.

Some fascinating stuff within the history of Kenrich in that link!
Some of it sounds very genuine and convincing - bits of it sound like bragging. Some bits - even to my amateur non-scientist ear - sound wrong.

pshevlin, the way I look at the timing is that though the deals may be taking longer to conclude than we hoped, I don't think that is due to the BOD dragging their heels. Consequently if we can't speed deals up with our government backing then it is highly unlikely that any other company is likely to 'overtake' us in the race as they too will be experiencing the same 'problems'.

Just a reminder of what BIGT is:

Beijing Institute of Graphene Technology Co Ltd.

"BIGT was founded in 2017 by Aero Engine Corporation of China ("AECC"), Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials ("BIAM"), and the Beijing Government, based on nearly a decade of graphene research by BIAM. BIAM and the National Graphene Institute at the University of Manchester have been working together on a wide ranging five-year collaborative research project since 2015."

That is why deals need to be signed rapidly sequoia. There is only a narrow window of opportunity before others muddy the market and leave us on the sidelines.I can't understand people who think they are prepared to wait until the cows come home for the bottom line to get a major boost.

Agreed Fest, it's the wrong way round, probably a slip of the tongue/pen.

Yes RTC, but Woody is saying it the other way round... no matter, it's being checked. It might be just a slip of the pen.

Yes we certainly will for a while I agree. The turbines that drive us to conventional status have loads of inertia but when they start! But full agreement with you .One of the early conventional things? - an order book. Cash per share and longevity without a raise are two of the things to get the share price moving though as Super has stated - and restated.

"concluded" in a legal sense means that all essential elements of a contract have been agreed, e.g. offer and acceptance, and consideration. But not necessarily yet signed.

chumbo, SG has said that the HNW investors are waiting for the deal to conclude as it will give them more confidence in the financial viability of the company/decrease risk.

No idea Fest, will relisten when I have time to check that my notes are right. Maybe we could ask Neill if he is able to expand on the comment if I am correct....

Understood, but my point was that other than the effect on the share register and cash position we are likely to be light on other metrics - sales, royalties etc from which some might start to deduce/estimate future earnings.

I want Neill to get the best deal for the company and shareholders.

Personally, I am not concerned if it takes longer to finalise, as long as it is a good deal. We know there was a Chinese investor wanting a large stake and there must have been other provinces wanting in. Neill has to protect the IP, get a wad of cash and manufacturing set up with the best financial terms possible. I am sure Chris will oblige.

jointer13 - there is a comma between 'this year' and 'significant future revenues'.

No real idea chumbo, but on the point of managing expectations, i have in my notes that Neill said in the Vox poddy 17/7/19 that he hoped to have the contract signed but not necessarily concluded by the AGM.

NR has said himself that there will not be one deal that sends the share price stratospheric but rather a series of deals that will drive the share price upwards as graphene expands into the marketplace with real engineering applications.

It pays to be realistic and hold for the long term, by which I mean the next 3 years (having been here almost 2 years already).

The narrative remains strong, with breadth and depth, but I would rather underestimate than overestimate and get despondent at lack of share price progress, or worse, give those wishing Versarien harm ammunition.

According to our very conservative cfo.

We are confident, that whilst revenues
of any material amount have yet to be
achieved, with the investment that we
have made, the accreditations awarded
and progress of our collaborations this
year, significant future revenues will be
achieved."
