Hear hear superg, Neill and co are building a brand new company in a brand new industry in exactly the right way. Selling out to the Chinese early on would have produced big gains and they maybe would have created the demand internally to start the Graphene industry in a big way but valuable tech and profits would have been lost to the UK forever. As for all the naysayers demands for orders well who is going to order Graphene when the products that use it haven't been invented yet? We are hearing of huge potential markets for Graphene but every product has to be rigorously tested first before sale so patience is required. The market and therefore orders is about to open. Aecom have a proven product ready to be used on the forthcoming UK railway upgrades that will use a lot if not all and more of vrs's current output. The textile industry is about to start manufacturing tonnes of clothing with Graphene enhancements. All the other collaborations have been progressing with no failures so we can expect news there regarding their anticipated products. This is a new industry. I'll say again no-one was ordering Graphene in quantity previously because the products weren't ready to be sold. They will be very soon so if you sell now you'll be missing out on the sudden market realisation that vrs has THE killer product and the scramble for shares I believe will be immense. It pays to wait.

BIGT

I spoke to the Berenberg guy and he was all about cash in the bank de-risking giving CWR as an example.

So he clearly thinks cash in the bank is a big de-risk and encourages new investors. Berenberg have been in the process of and continue to introduce potential new investors.

Post BIGT dropping that will start to move through the gears and the moaner holders will become irrelevant, insignificant, unwanted shareholders.

But the Chinese and whoever else can't do anything without the only accredited Graphene supplier can they? Haydale's graphite oxide has its uses but it sells for peanuts so they're welcome to whatever orders they can garner, it won't save them from going under.

And remember what Tony Seba had to say about disruptive technology...

No successful technology in history has never been adopted on a linear basis, ever, it gets adopted as an s-curve. Once you hit that tipping point essentially it can move sideways for a long time and then it disrupts the existing market and it grows exponentially. People saying that “oh, its only two percent of the market” and then BOOM it’s 80% of market in no time.

Haydale Graphene Industries plc

('Haydale' or the 'Group')

Haydale Awarded Funding to Develop Airbus Approved Space Technology

Haydale, (AIM: HAYD), the global advanced materials group, has been awarded a contract by the European Space Agency (ESA), which is seeking to develop non-metallic gas tanks for spacecraft propulsion systems in a. technology de-risking project.

The demand for small satellite launches has created a challenge within the existing space propulsion supply chain for low-cost reliable components. With the constellation market set to increase rapidly, the development of components that meet these criteria is critical. Haydale's non-metallic system offers a low-cost alternative with reduced lead time that can be offered in a wider range of configurations to exactly suit the end user requirement.

Haydale will formulate and model a largely de-risked tank, prior to the manufacture of development models for full testing. This will result in the qualification for specific Spacecraft Propulsion Systems.

Prominent producers of Satellite technology have been identified and are engaged in developing the specification and tank design for eventual manufacture and deployment.

Haydale will be working alongside ISP International Space Propulsion Ltd through ESA ARTES Competitiveness & Growth, in conjunction with UK Space Agency.

Keith Broadbent, CEO, Haydale, said: "This funding will allow Haydale to develop existing knowledge in the space industry and we look forward to developing the technology alongside our partners. We are pleased to have gained the support of the Airbus DS Tank Product Group who are interested in the development of competitive non-conventional pressure vessel products, and can provide clear design drivers thanks to their invaluable expertise. With the UK space market growing, Haydale is delighted to be part of this progression."

Who's marked down Fred?

A positive/upbeat post (in marked contrast to the self pitying negativity of most on here this morning) and the poor bloke is marked down.

Whoever is responsible should be ashamed.

Never mind Fred, I'll mark you up mate.

Jointer, the time for going mega, as you say, was about a year ago.8 months after the Jinan rns, we were poised to 'catapult' from 180p to 300p, or even the 700p that SuperG predicted, if a commercial deal with any partner had been announced. But no.Now, any deal will boost the share price of course, but there will be plenty of opportunity to buy back in here. The slingshot momentum was lost I'm afraid.

@PShovel

My persona on here is mere pastiche, a grotesque parody of my true self, contrived solely to undermine the equanimity of that vile oaf Knowles.

However I strongly suspect the 'Peter Shevlin' (Failed Academic & Nervous Investor) displayed on here is your true persona, which is both sad and worrying in equal measure.

Just filter Gidding, Coker and Festario. problem solved.

Also, a reminder that even NR has given up on Club Sandwich and had to filter him on Twitter. So why not just filter and let him bark.
