That youtube video

The first part of the video is about CVD graphene and it's a problem we have pointed out for some time, faults in the hexagonal lattice when talking electronics and computer chips.

Sadly the person responsible just posted false information.

The graphene in the head tennis racket is not graphene under the definition we know and is nothing to with Applied graphene materials. The graphene in that racket is 18-24 layers going by the data sheet. Good old John Mabbit the then CEO of AGM confused the market when he posed for a photo showing him holding such a racket.

Share buy back.

It's a normal resolution. Nothing to do with profit or not to buy back, Eco did and they are not in profit.

I can't see VRS buying back shares post any BIGT deal, they will need the money for staff additions and expansion to meet the orders they anticipate, from all the deals pending.

Good evening serrita,
Ref your conclusion of 'big tax increases'.

Just thinking out loud a few examples...

Less cars on road -> less roads needed -> less tax needed -> more road workers
etc out of work -> more tax to keep them?

Less fumes -> better health -> less hospitals needed -> less tax needed -> people
live longer -> more pensions -> more tax.

Life is not that simple, there will be a new distribution of tax sources and a new
list of things to spend that tax on.

Add to that people like their private space in a car, flexibility, instant availability, leave the shopping, spare shoes, tools, garden spade etc etc
in the boot.

A whole new world awaits us! Just my thoughts.

O/T,

More on the future of motoring.

Private cars are in use for 5% of the 24 hr/365 day year. If we get to the point of calling up a self driving EV as and when we need it this has the potential to reduce the number of cars purchased significantly. The car hire companies will optimise the number of cars needed and won't have them out of use for 95% of the time. Even if they are only in action 50% of the time that's still a tenth of the car numbers needed.
So more tax loss for the government. Reduced purchase taxes, reduced MOT payments, reduced road tax income, a double whammy on VAT from servicing as less servicing on an EV means less VAT from the garages.
It all adds up to some big tax increases down the line.

AD631 - Do you mean special resolution No.6? - To authorise the Company to purchase its own shares

Does anyone know if this was in there last year?

I think from memory that NR traditionally has to go into purdah in the Twitter front before the AGM
May explain the silence
