Sorry to see that Dean Haigh has decided to infest this thread again. I've had little to say, so I've kept off it as advised.A lot of good that did eh?I just filter his new usernames immediately, it's the best way.But maybe now SuperG and others will see what type of scum you are dealing with?

This is doomed to failure. Hot air and piddling sales best describes this rubbish.

Personally I am pretty sure having listened to the latest poddie that there is very little chance of BIGT happening any time soon and virtually zero of it landing before the AGM.
When NR starts talking of ‘difficulties’ it usually means the time line has slipped and is out of his control.
IMHO the problem that VRS have is that they are a minnow negotiating with a whale in most of their collaborations and the big guys don’t have any pressing deadlines whereas NR has to throw some meat to his impatient PIs .
I would like to see them walk away from China and concentrate on markets that are easier to operate in ie UK and USA.
However I do like the ambition to go global and am sure they will but in 2-3 years rather than next 12 months .
I am hanging on in as I suspect this will be the best investment I have ever made

Small fry, why does everyone have to have an ulterior motive? Can't people just pose questions to these boards, without being accused of skullduggery? I remember when that was the norm...I usually just post because I'm a sad lonely character with no one to talk to. My ulterior motive being, I pay 23 quid a month for the privilege. Ha ha.

"NR has occasionally excused his use of words that others have challenged, by pointing out that English is not his first language."

what a wonderfully convenient excuse.

I notice my cretinous brother Rainbow23 is ranting again due to his misguided belief this share will drop to 20p! Never have I been this embarrassed to have a sibling so dense. Looking forward to the AGM in a few weeks!

I had hoped we'd zoom before the climax to the EU issue. It is described as airs in the report. Not a huge one I guess but ah well. I can see it might be a great hedge.

I see the ramping clowns are back peddling furiously now and talking of a BIGT deal by xmas. They're not saying which year though. I can save them the bother, it's NEVER.

CS,

NR has occasionally excused his use of words that others have challenged, by pointing out that English is not his first language. I am prepared to accept that in his understandable excitement, he does occasionally rely on superlatives when something a tad less dramatic might have been appropriate. On the other hand, maybe what's coming is bigger than even his wildest word choice :-O

grabster - I would have attributed it to excited exageration too, if Ricketts hadn't repeated 'staggering' several times and if both he and Matt (and the VRS CFO?) hadn't used exactly the same phrase at different times relating to China: 'mind-blowing'. Such repetition was clearly intended to set an expectation among s'holders.

Personally I'll take the Star Wars definition:

Luke: "Listen, if you were to rescue her, the reward would be—"
Han: "What?"
Luke: "Well, more wealth than you can imagine."
Han: "I don't know. I can imagine quite a bit."

The "public at large" aren't and never will be aware of anything Grabster so I wouldn't worry about them.
