04/8/2019 09:45 | “Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.” Herodotus. | johnveals
04/8/2019 08:37 | Amy Much of the negativity wasn't about VRS it was about the Aim in general. The LM/TW basis is that most of the Im fliers that appear are false junk. Therefore if you short them all when over-valued to will be up more often than not. In 10 years every flier of called junk has failed badly so yes I agree with them on that point. So when you hear talk of Who are Aecom and Neill is liar, all Aims are like this, then you know absolutely no research was done by TW and co, which is what we say anyway. What we keep telling folk is they bash companies knowing that with fliers a number of investors will be in that have little clue what they are invested in and are geared etc. I see you have spotted something else, I with you luck but hope its not one of the below. An oil and mining junior with no revenue playing the hype game with the herd in play. A general herd hype share waiting for the one hit wonder big news. A binary bet like a bio waiting on a drugs result. I hope the one you like is something quiet that the masses have missed and you have done a lot of research. That from experience is what will give you good returns, with a lot less risk due to research. Take Eco which is oil but looked liked a good team. I spotted that around 38p because of apparent ignorance re big oil hits next to them. It's well up but short term is in a binary bet news mode, it's either going to go well up shortly or crash down. In coin flips it's best imo to wait for the coin to land, otherwise you are just betting red or black. On the AIM binary bet news has a nasty habit of landing on the wrong side of the coin 90% of the time. Eco actually looks like it should be one in the 10% bracket though. Bad example but it's just a binary bet I know that is due shortly. FUM is another one but for the year end. If that coin lands on the wrong side the company is finished. | superg1
03/8/2019 23:44 | Ahh, but did you get all those little press studs matched up properly? I never do.... that's what takes all the time up. | festario

03/8/2019 23:00 | That's still pretty good going. | wuzy
03/8/2019 22:37 | Amt, if MikeBrenner's research and balanced view of VRS put you off your investment, then let's hope he doesn't research SRT :) But good luck though, you need to be comfortable with your investments. | bisho4
03/8/2019 22:00 | Priced in? If we are 'overvalued' who would accept a £1.30 bid now? We Know our VRS story is unfolding - our true value will be released either way in the near future. The day of P/E reckoning is a day nearer each day....but not yet. When compared to other technology recent floats - if we were an IPO today with a (multi) tonne contract with a Fortune 500 company etc what would our value be in anticipation of following contracts / orders? all imo DYOR etc | ad631
03/8/2019 21:45 | Well let's hope he does so for five or so weeks. | alchemy

03/8/2019 19:38 | 1% lol. Maybe in the early days when it was 15p and the business was just starting. VRS is hugely derisked now that the business model is proven, the size of multiple moats and the sheer diversity it can go at. I wouldn’t advise anyone how to invest their money though but If you’re partial to AIM and looking for a potential decacorn amongst the complete dross out there it’s a no brainier to have at least some exposure. | rogerthegrouch
03/8/2019 19:27 | Faint heart never won fair lady chillpill, they are currently in de risk mode. I never tell anyone what to buy but sounds like you know some very well off people if you are only advising 1% ! | luckyorange
03/8/2019 19:27 | Depends on the value of your 1%:) VRS is not an AIM roulette table to me though personal risk management should be considered at all times. Some may believe a scratch card every week is 'part of a diversified portfolio':) VRS, if you believe in the graphene story is surely, given the RNS' and management, worth more than 1% of any portfolio - unless we are talking Billions? but each to their own - DYOR etc :) | ad631 |
