Many thanks for all your warm words, and for the up-votes for my last post, which outweigh down-votes by 2:1. A very pleasant surprise, and clearly I'm not alone in my views.

Something else for y'all to ponder, which I have been mulling during my absence.

So BIGT wants to buy up to 15% of VRS, at a price yet to be confirmed, but which won't be very high if the current share price decline is anything to go by. BIGT is effectively the Chinese government - and yet the *UK* government doesn't seem remotely interested in buying a golden share in the company, despite the secondements from the DIT, and despite the rhetoric about being on the brink of the graphene revolution.

And Aecom - who allegedly will be buying 'staggering' amounts of graphene from VRS in the not-too-distant future - *also* don't seem interested in buying a stake, either in a placing or the open market. Which is odd, because if Ricketts is right (and let's face it, he hasn't been right about much so far) Aecom will shortly be paying VRS huge (sorry, HUGE) amounts of money. You *might* think they'd want to get some of that back in the form of dividends (if VRS ever starts paying a divi) and an increasingly-valuable asset on their balance sheet (the growing value of a share in a rapidly-growing global company). But no, *they* don't seem interested in buying a stake either.

So to recap. A world leader in its field, the only certified (by China and the US) producer of high-quality graphene: and yet nobody appears to want to buy significant quantities of the company's product, those that buy smaller amounts don't seem to be paying much for it (as evidenced by the almost-flat YOY revenues revealed in the last results), and nobody (except the graphene-crazy Chinese) seem to want to buy a stake in the company, not even the company's own national government.

That strike anyone else as a bit strange? No? Just me then...

There are a couple I know of in group 2, still holding..... maybe because they are underwater and want to get out on any spike. I don't know though.I do know that Group 3 is logically where the vast majority, if not everyone, should be.

Why would anyody in group 2 still be holding? I'm in 3.
Hong Kong situation is a bit worrying though as the last thing we need is a trade embargoe on China if they do anything silly.

There are runners from all around the world in the graphene marathon. The front pack are still a mile or two from entering the stadium. Team Versarien has several dozen athletes out there, including five in the leading pack - any one of whom could be first to enter the stadium. No team is better placed pick up a medal. ;-)

It's very sad, but this thread is fast becoming a troll infested nonsense, full of egotistic time wasters who pollute and stifle what was a great hub for knowledge and research. If I'm honest I've come to rely on this thread a little too much of late, so for now I'll take a healthy break from it. Thanks to ellissj, woody, sg to name but three, for their time given to research and for passing on information, and good luck to all long termers.

That's a good find DaveMac, thanks for posting it although the maths is beyond me it does sound similar to the aecom arch but much more complex in the construction materials.
