I would say some big players are selling VRS and moving into IOF. Nothing to warrant a fall in the VRS share price.

The 14781 is a buy as it's mine! Showing as a sell.

I still don't get the logic behind that savvy.

I know superg doesn't like me making these observations but you can now take out a short in vrs. This means that it is less likely to fall in coming days. At 130 down to 115 it was not possible

Then VRS will have to ask for more Yuan. Simple.

I think the fall today in the share price is linked to the Trump-China trade dispute. Trump wants the dollar to be cheaper, wanting a 1/2% cut instead of the 1/4% he got. The Chinese are responding by driving down the yuan.

Versarien is hoping to do big deals in China. It will be paid in yuan.

As with all shares , just when you think you know what is happening the opposite will occur and not talking about VRS , mention other shares on here and they will become a target. Don't do it!

joeblogg2 - Some of the provincial Chinese proposals are pretty old - but the BIGT proposal is much more recent and seems to be moving at a much quicker pace.

I would be surprised if BIGT not sorted well before then considering how long this has been going on now????

NR mentioned that Versarien's agm is possibly around third week in September (16-20?)
If it's the 20th that's a mere 7 weeks away; 8 weeks if Sept 27.

Belief here seems to be that the company wants the BIGT deal sorted ahead of agm (though NR I think indicated that's not a cast iron requirement).

The company's half-year ends 30 Sept - and it'd be neat if something money related (such as BIGT input) fell within half year figures when reported (November?)

- I'm just suprised that the 100,000 marks not been attained...when will people wake up....do posters, their sons / daughters want their wealth eroded and others to profit from their work until they are 80 or 90?

Might , not definitely, but all the news so far has only created ripples. The news I'm waiting for will create a sunami. It just seems like it may be some time coming and meanwhile traders (some) are making more profits than me.

Might be a fairly long time before we get any news that will bother the traders.

Let's also hope the traders are out when that news comes and miss out on a massive pre-open rise

It's just traders pushing the price up and down between the £1 - £1.30 level in my view! I'm buying at the bottom and holding until the transformational news arrives- whenever that may be! I'm convinced it's coming though so happy to accumulate

The £1 level is almost like a bloody magnet everytime this gets up around £1.30. So annoying.

Does anyone have any more thoughts on the consistent selling going on in the background? I understand there were two big holders according to SG the other day, together with a few left at Herald? Shorters are now less able to get their hands on stock, and anyone bought into the story will be unlikely to be persistently selling into the gains? Just puzzled as to where its coming from

Anley

It doesn't look connected at all, the oil interest was about a component part of downhole drilling, something like the stator as that is a polymer type composite.
