FFS don't give Patrick any ideas. If true it shows how damaging and life changing ID theft can become when you have a fruitcake chasing you.

If innocent, what a really awful experience to have to go through and then chastised by fk wits out to make money on it by shorting.

I'm tempted to fly out there and chat to Patrick and help him out if his story is true.

Have you guys seen Patrick's version of events which is comprehensive and sickening for him as potential victim.

He has been quite open about it?

I know what I would have done if it's true.

Re P Abbott and today's RNS:

I’ve looked at the material linked by Mike Brenner in his post #65850.

Even judged by the standards of a US salesman, Abbott’s attempt at putting a coherent defence case forward in that material is appalling.

I think Horndean Eagle #65906 puts the negative case pretty well. Where I disagree with him/her is that, although at first sight the market cap of VRS at £180m appears optimistic, the opportunities available (to someone else if not VRS who appears to be the current front runner in the race to commercialise) from the discovery of 2D materials are truly exceptional – someone is going to make a lot of money – and dwarf whether the VRS market cap should currently be £50m, £100m, £200m or even £500m. Only time will tell.

But in the immediate term, it's not clear to me that Abbott with his baggage adds value to VRS in the US but that is what NR/CL/DK are paid to decide.

'Typically they try to scare older infirm investors...'

I presume you're referring to my disagreements with Scrutes. These have been going on for many years - fortunately for him, I'm sure he's quite touch enough to cope with a few factual corrections from me.

'... but many of us are not that way.'
Aren't you the one who threatened another poster and his family with violence? The evidence is still around don't forget, so playing the plaster saint doesn't wash with those of us who have good memories.

And that inventory? No comment on that? I thought not ;¬)) Get 'researching' now!

Whilst I agree that this has been handled badly - he should either have not been employed or the case should have been mentioned as considered - I have to pick you up on the following "That the company claims to have only recently become aware of these matters suggests that they were not disclosed by Abbott at the time of his appointment which makes the decision to stand by him extraordinary."
NR claims no such thing, he says they knew and considered it hence probationary period.

Referring to current tittle tattle as storm in a teacup reminds me of summat I mentioned previously - as someone with an interest in pottery - there is a great market for graphene reinforced crockery (or 'tableware' as sometimes classified) - improving the toughness and reducing the weight. Also in enhancing the scratch resistance of the glazes.

Worldwide the replacement market alone is huge (caterers, global hotel chains, etc, having to replace chipped, scratched or cracked plates/cups/bowls/jugs)

Graphene is already talked of in industrial ceramics (electrical insulators etc) but the crockery/tableware market is bigger.

supergerbil - I think your lists are out of date. I suggest you add Horndean to the Filtered list, the Never Unfiltered list, and the Do Not Engage list - you're really out of your league trying to respond. 'Patrick being treated by a crook', lol.

Anyway on your diligent researches did you ever discover what that list you found stockonomist on was? I see some miscreant has added you to the list so you sit alongside all the other 'baddies'. Perhaps you need to talk to GCHQ again?

I bet all these 'fraudulent producers' are quaking in their boots:

and many others...

Probably all ceased production waiting for availability of VRS's 'real' graphene.

Meanwhile, on a more salient matter, I'm still wondering what all that inventory is. £2M of shower trays? Or bits of carbide tooling? Or perhaps it's old unsold copper foam? Or those aluminium extrusions that nobody seems to talk about much any more, although I remember you thought that acquisition was a great coup at the time?

Scrutable - I forgot - one of the key differences between Ceres and Versarien is that the former has defensible ip...

Hey ho

All the big names have been buying graphene of fraudulent crooks (aka graphene producers) for the last few years, it is going to be a surprise that some graphene actually turns up when they order from us. :-)

I think Patrick was naive but I take that to be the church side of him where some can't seem to see the evil in others and forgive them and hence get caught out.

I can't help my DNA, I'm the deal with them with the full force of the law type when it comes to right and wrong.

So is Patrick is guilty than F him chuck him in jail, but so far the case claim, is that he is rather unfortunate victim of a scumbag.

TBH I'd have dealt with it rather differently if it was me and it's true. It either wouldn't have happened or it would be done and dusted long ago.

It’s a storm in a teacup, folks!

The likes of Winni and Gotham city have absolutely nothing they can pin on this first class, honourable company, as regards irregular practice or any of the like!

They are a bunch of chancers trying their luck to find a piece of dirt to scurry the name of this multi billion pound company in the making!

Investors will be wiping their butts with this lame, no news rns within cpl days!

Really? You think it’ll go up by a quid tomorrow?

Actually EL Tamer if you dig as much as I do then it does have the potential to do that on one piece of news.

Yes such factors can cause a mass of churn which is ways welcome, but the fact is news of that size would open the floodgates to those standing on the sidelines, funds currently looking but can't buy due to their tick list and so on.

As it stands I think VRS is going to be a phenomenal company and news potential in the coming months is going to be a big shock for most, simply because people are not reading the news from the past and worked out what is going on.

If you take those parts and research them it brings up some pretty astonishing potential.

If it happens it happens and I'll be here to enjoy it.
