Thanks Chumbo - interesting and useful ;0)

I suppose one might question how many layers 'cling film' contains, and I get the point.

The tweet, posted on September 1, 2011, by @qikipedia, read in its entirety: "It would take an elephant, balanced on a pencil to break through a sheet of graphene the thickness of cling film." Some detective work revealed that the statement originated with mechanical engineering professor James Hone of Columbia University, who said in 2008, "Our research establishes graphene as the strongest material ever measured, some 200 times stronger than structural steel. It would take an elephant, balanced on a pencil, to break through a sheet of graphene the thickness of Saran Wrap."

Did Liz and whoever it was turn up for work today at our new US office in Houston? Assuming they did, how are they getting on. Any selfies?

Have you been reading that Graphene book that got released last year? I read it and now people on here are quoting parts of it.Like don't trust atoms , they make up everything

Re: cartoon: for those of us who are slightly more challenged:
A single layer of graphene i.e. ONE atom thick, is so unbelievably strong that it can support the weight of an elephant supported above a pencil point.

e.g. graphene is '200 times stronger than steel', amongst its many incredible attributes.

Good news on this stock which I didn't sell when a number of members on this board were trashing it. Does anyone have a list of those names so I and others on the board can block their future attempts ?

I've had my thinking head on today. I've been thinking that the AECOM situation might not be a thumping big order in the traditional sense of the word. That's all so old fashioned.Instead, we might see VRS and AECOM announce a strategic partnership whereby we have an ongoing arrangement to supply various amounts of 2d materials, for various projects.Something along the lines of, a two year contractual arrangement which could be worth in the region of 'X' pounds or dollars to VRS.

A couple of years ago, I was about to propose to my girlfriend when my roommate Joe barged into the room out of nowhere. He tripped over and fell into a glass table, breaking it with his face. I didn't know Joe THAT well, don't even remember where he was from, but let's just say I put my plans on hold to help him through his injuries. Joe had ended up with a big glass shard in his eye, rendering it completely blind. He was walking around with one of those cotton pads over it for a couple of months. Then suddenly one day he disappeared, along with my girlfriend Apparently they'd bonded whilst he was recovering from his injuries, and eloped together, leaving me behind without as much as a note. I tried to track them down, but never could. In conclusion, if it hadn't been for cotton eye Joe, I'd have been married a long time ago. Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from, cotton eye Joe?

I am and I've warned enough for investors to look around while standing on that crossroads while looking down one road seeking out Aecom.

We can talk about Aecom as the name is known.

Oh yes, don't forget while standing on that junction that there is always a field to the left with VRS.

All this expectation concerning Aecom, which is OK, but no-one is looking at other fronts...Brexit...Europe...EV's...that is all on Gnanomat(a bit quiet at the moment, but...

For those who complain about the time taken, p5 of the Hexcel pdf says -

2005 First customer evaluations.
2007 First products launched.

It wasn't Graphene but it shows the timescales involved.

Shrout, it was TW's Mum who saw the ghost of flat polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons past. His wife doesn't want to see a ghost of flat polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons past. That's the one thing she fears most of flat polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons past. She'd rather have a piece of toast of flat polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons past, watch the evening news.

If TW himself was short he'll be waking up with a few nightmares, but I'm afraid to say I think he and his pals got out at a profit or small loss on the panic-fuelled dip to 70p. I was white as a sheet down there myself, and wish I had bought a lot more but at 100k+ I have enough now as a % of my blood pressure and am planning on putting some income into home improvements, but hanging onto the £VRS.

Bloody good work to Neill and co btw, not that they need my approval!

What now then when the Aecom deal lands post that news.

The others will say typical Aecom way ahead of the rest of us.

In theory the next US event post Aecom is in front of the senate on Capitol Hill. With the US becoming very aware of the big Chinese interest in VRS.

What is not to love about the prospects that lay before VRS.
