02/4/2019 21:01 | We have gone from 1 guy part time in California to half a dozen full time in Houston it seems and we all know Chris doesn´t spend money if he doesn´t have to. Wonder what the master plan really is!! | ![]() 772
02/4/2019 20:51 | grabster, "mryl - maybe your agenda is too obvious - hence the downward thumbs" Only blue posters can give the thumbs down or I would guess there would have been more of them. I don't really know because I filtered myrl some time ago. So obviously an agenda there. | ![]() sandbag
02/4/2019 20:38 | Catching up, I see our new US representative has caused some comment. I know nothing of what may have been said wherever, but Neill has now responded (a much "liked" post) to whatever Shareprophets posted a link to. I do know a little about them though, which I don't like at all. I previously said here that I've had some "in situ" experience of American sales people and their style, and that I found it very different to our (Brit) approach. And, in their "work mode", those I knew appeared a very different type of people to us; we might see them as loud, over-the-top, overpowering etc., but of course they operate within the US business culture where "very positive presentation", both business wise and personal, is just the norm - and consequently necessary. Meeting those same people on a private personal basis, as I did in several cases and contexts, revealed normal human beings, living the pluses and minuses of ordinary lives. From the twitter information he has freely made available and that I've seen, our new man is an Alpha example of that US type, in his business suit. I note the high achievements he describes in his previous roles - put crudely, he does have plenty to be bullish about! And beyond work, people who race cars to win - and do win - have a certain positive attitude! So whatever may have been said about his style, I'm relaxed while he runs himself into VRS. Our products and capabilities don't need "heavyweight selling" - a good wine etc. They do need effective and knowledgeable representation, conveying the solid professionalism and reality that underlies VRS and its activities. I have confidence that Neill has assessed every aspect of our US activities a hundred times better than I could, and that his appointments reflect that. I'm not necessarily expecting a run of instant sales in the US; relationships and confidence have to be built progressively, as we have done elsewhere and I would expect Neill to be assessing US progress from that viewpoint. So I'm wishing Patrick well in the probationary period, both in building the customer relationships and in appreciating and settling into the VRS culture. Then we shall see. (I started meaning just to say a few words in support of SG's post above - but seem to have run on a bit!) | ![]() hew
02/4/2019 20:27 | Another great day and based on Neill's tweets, I think we can safely assume that he still feels he has plenty of cards left to play for us and is definitely in the driving seat. Lots to come by the sound of it...not sure I'll get any more sleep tonight than I did last night....isn't it time for fest's nightly post....? | ![]() woodpeckers

02/4/2019 20:06 | Yesterday's news was fantastic for VRS and UK plc. A British company is the first in the world. Who knows - six months from now, it could still be just VRS. The Chinese have verified nanene and now the American Graphene Council have verified nanene. The iso seems a formality. Well done to all at VRS. Let's hope that VRS becomes a great British company. A big thank you goes to all the well researched posts/posters on this forum. | harrysol

02/4/2019 19:53 | Wow thumb downs, and Tim, just because I post a realistic comment! I meant to say "next stop £17 per share" and "not selling one share for less than £1000"... That's what people like to hear anyway.. and start whinging when it obviously doesn't happen.. get real. | ![]() mryl
02/4/2019 19:52 | It seems some people just want to pour more cold water on the head of Neil Yesterday's RNS was fantastic news The appointment of Patrick Fantastic news The retaining of Matt fantastic news The kick in the teeth for shareprophets the best news of all Go team Versarien John | smallfry1
02/4/2019 19:47 | Strange post myrl, almost as if you were trying to subtly sow seeds of doubt after a great day...I’m sure you weren’t though ;-) | ![]() tim3416
02/4/2019 19:20 | Fantastic news this last RNS! Congrats all :) Especially given that the expected AECOM order RNS was not delivered yet.. so I foresee a healthy retrace at some point, some more juicy expected and unexpected news, and back to retesting the ATHs! But material revenues are needed or this is going back down imo.. and obviously this is all based on the assumption that VRS is the only company able to obtain this accreditation atm so hopefully no other company gets their product verified. It does really seem to be the case though! Shorters gone and crying in a corner. | ![]() mryl

02/4/2019 17:18 | Are they going on about Patrick. Who cares, we discussed that between dozens of investors elsewhere some days ago. Patrick claims he was the victim of ID theft. What will be will be there. That's where the legal system kicks in. Patrick is salesman in the US, not a key figure up to this point and like anyone can be replaced if deemed necessary. He'll either deliver or he won't and be fired or not, quite simple really, that's how business works. Been there had that discussion #oldnews that really isn't news. | ![]() superg1
02/4/2019 17:12 | One the recent news not one of the big 5, no it wouldn't be, I have some of those as bloody huge. But the to understand the depth of that it you have to do the research because it isn't on here and won't be. | ![]() superg1

02/4/2019 17:10 | Fest re a fund buying. I've been chatting about that with friends for a week or two. Once got near and over £1 it seemed the traders and no doubt the shorting type did their best to sell expecting a drop back for another bounce around. However it held even with the selling, then you and others were reporting you could sell in largish numbers. That trend continued. So on that basis I thought and still think a buyer is in play picking off any selling. That in theory, if correct will be at a time when Miton are out. | ![]() superg1 |
