01/4/2019 23:15 | Generous indeed. Who will bid me a grand per share. | ![]() willoicc
01/4/2019 22:53 | Today's validation makes an attempted takeover bid this year more likely in my view - most likely a well-off global player with a wish to capture first-mover advantage for themselves in what amounts to a materials revolution. To overcome resistance from reluctant shareholders it would have to be a very generous offer. I hope it doesn't happen - or doesn't succeed. | ![]() grabster

01/4/2019 21:21 | occultusverum1, "sandbag:Peter is no longer with Versarien." I am fully aware of that. I was explaining to backwoodsman why I thought China wasn't the first mentioned country in relation to Matt who unlike Peter and Yi isn't a Mandarin speaker. Therefore Japan and Korea may have been his primary sphere of interest. Hence Neill's remarks on the podcast. | ![]() sandbag
01/4/2019 21:18 | Congrats Neill (with fantastic VRS Team help) for breasting the tape today, well run!! Who’s that coming into view now, was that a wobble? Will he make it over the line?? Final top up for me today, lubbly jubbly. | ![]() hoverflyman

01/4/2019 20:43 | Just catching up after being out most of the day: "backwoodsman - 01 Apr 2019 - 17:04:55 - 65516 of 65546 VRS The world lead in real Graphene (Nanene) - VRS Any significance in the podcast to the ranking given by Neill to Matt Walker's work in Japan, Korea and China? I thought China would have been first mentioned. Has Japan been mentioned in an RNS before now?" I would assume that China was mostly being taken care of by Peter, the fluent Mandarin speaker, thus leaving Japan and Korea to Matt. Don't recollect Japan being mentioned in an RNS but of course plenty of news re: Korea in RNS and twitter. | ![]() sandbag

01/4/2019 20:34 | Re a mono layer; so cling film was a simple but effective metaphor for something ridiculously thin. Yup that makes perfect sense, so back to one elephant, one pencil, and one layer of carbon atoms. I shall sleep well tonight (helped on by a moderately good - so far - Claire Valley Shiraz. Or ... as someone else said I've had worse days Rodney. ;0) | ![]() spike_1
01/4/2019 20:30 | Metis Thank should get the minds boggling a bit so I'll add in this one just to cause a few red wine corks to pop to settle the mind. Some go on about CVD graphene being the best (it is) but it's for a different use and a tad expensive I've just linked a random sample off the web for sale 4 cm/2 for $200 So for a gram of CVD in that example, it's a snip at $657 million per gram, or $657 billion per kg. | ![]() superg1
01/4/2019 20:24 | In the book it states a sheet of mono layer Graphene | ![]() 1teepee
01/4/2019 20:22 | Metis - thank you for such a quality post! So science to the fore - and why not. I guees elephants and pencils will have to be ruduced to mere metaphors. Ah well . ;0) | ![]() spike_1
01/4/2019 20:12 | 3 layer graphene is approx 1nm Common plastic wrap is roughly 0.0005 inches (12.7 μm) thick or 12,700nm so cling film has a thickness of about 38,000 layers of single layer graphene.... | ![]() metis20 |
