24/2/2019 06:56 | I'm all for that 20%. I see a V shape here for those reasons. General market uncertainties in march and as ever timescales are the variables. 1st quarter re trade disputes/brexit was always going to be difficult. And yes through university of exeter calm experience should have helped re 3D printing AM. I agree re concrete, have been having another look at that. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
24/2/2019 03:15 | The trouble with researching all the possible links with VRS is that I am finding that I seem to have forgotten more of the possible connections than I can remember. Its probably an age thing, anyway. Out of the blue I suddenly remembered Neill mentioned Exeter Uni in the latest interview. That reminded me of the Exeter Uni CALM 2016 event at which Victrex, VRS, Boeing and Airbus, amongst others, made presentations. CALM and Vitrex later announced a partnership to introduce next generation PAEK polymers and composites. This maybe why Neill mentioned Exeter Uni as it ties in with the current excitement regarding the recently announced Aecom collaboration. It also reminded me of the Exeter Uni news regarding graphene in concrete. I don't know that VRS had any involvement with Exeter regarding the concrete or the CALM/Victrex patnership for that matter. However I do know that VRS provides graphene and Aecom are big in concrete and Aecom have a collab with winsum. “Under the MOU both companies will collaborate on 3D printing for building design and construction”. Looking at Aecom “Future of Construction” document, In the building of One World Trade Building, Aecom needed concrete twice as strong as concrete typically used in high rise buildings with a compression strentgh of 14000 psi. For people who don't follow the links (Like some of the people who appeared here of late to knock the price) it is easy to think that VRS potential is Noddy but Aecom on its own with its infrastructure projects are not Noddy they are Big Ears. I don't know if VRS products will be used in concrete, but why not. So by not knowing it is easy to imply/scare that the valuation is a bit frothy. As I see it, over the last few weeks, the froth has blown off, and with the funds out and news expected, the high from a few months ago will be better underpinned next time round. | ![]() 20pc

23/2/2019 22:01 | I must admit to being pleasantly surprised that the share price of VRS rose even slightly on Friday. I had been expecting it to fall after Haydale’s shocker of a distress share placement at 2p as that would blight the share price of all other London quoted shares involved with graphene. Personally I see VRS as having a very different business model and management ethos to Haydale so the latter‘s problems don’t carry over to VRS. Haydale imo is uninvestable at even 2p/share whereas VRS is investable at current share price But it appears those other quoted companies are also uninvestable at their current share price So that’s a bit of a curate’s egg - good that VRS is investable, bad that no other company in sector yet is. | ![]() campbed

23/2/2019 20:05 | Uncertainty seems to be setting in. After such a big rise a period of consolidation is natural. Falls are inevitable as all regroup. Naturally some will cement their spoils. Name of the game! All will still during the temporary lull claim to be buying more whilst secretively cashing half gains in So as to let the rest run. Others will ocassionaly bet short. Oh what fun! | ![]() bocker01
23/2/2019 18:53 | I'm sorry, Chumbo is not available to take your call at the moment. Please leave a message after the beep. Credit where credit's due, they out-played us in the second half and yours is a point well made. We'd hate him to be miserable wouldn't we? | chumbo
23/2/2019 18:44 | Chumbo1 - unlucky sir however allow me to leave a consolation prize for the English contingent among us, anything that motivates Captain Ricketts has got to be good for HMS Versarien, heres to Q1 and the excitement and promise that we have leading us into the rest of 2019! #teamVRS | ![]() matheus7777
23/2/2019 16:25 | Lovat Scout - Ref the share Prophets driven day, I agree, unless of course we go mob handed and out-number the TW deciples........now there’s a plan. 23/2/2019 13:12 | Chumbo1 - you have researched the available evidence and thus far have found nothing to suggest VRS is anything other than a Unicorn in the making, and we all stand to benefit from this glorious opportunity to see a global major as it grows and matures. In the total absence of any other flaws as you put it, the inescapable conclusion is that Neills success is BECAUSE he is a Welsh supporter. Cymru am byth | ![]() matheus7777

23/2/2019 11:23 | I don’t think VRS should attend anything to do with Sharephrophets as they won’t get a fair hearing and the audience will be full of Sharephrophets acolytes. VRS don’t need to prove themselves to market spivs.......... unless it’s straight after a blockbuster announcement:) | lovat scout

23/2/2019 09:20 | Good morning everyone, just a reminder that on Thursday It’s the Grant Thornton quoted company Awards. Recognising the achievement of company’s out side the FTSE 350 Neil has made the short list for Entrepreneur of the year. I think Neil sed he was making up numbers. Come on Neil Ricketts.
