23/2/2019 08:11 | For the Gnanomat or RealMadrid fans out there, I found a great video to practice your Spanish while learning more about next-gen 2D materials. Espero que lo encontréis interesante | mryl
23/2/2019 07:52 | Thank you so much for your king comments Phil and Spike and also your generous offer This is one reason a love the respect between genuine holders. I actually only live about 20 mins from Neil although have yet to meet him person. If things work out timing wise I will try and get to an organised meeting this year. I am sure like other holders we all look at things we do in our everyday work and try to imagine the changes that will come w with the incorporation of our products. In my case being a handyman its drills power tools etc all longer lasting lighter and almost instant charging Work van light weight and stronger internal racking systems. Protective clothing I like many others I am sure could go on and on. I am signed up to receive the RNS releases s so in the future for a while I may just sit back and catch up occasionally . Thanks once again for your kindness and reminding me that this really is a family John | smallfry1
23/2/2019 06:32 | Hi smallfry fingers crossed it all turns out well. VRS has enormous potential and hopefully now that they are more focused on their 5 key target market results will follow. I know it is difficult but if the share price movement is causing anxiety just try giving the forum a miss for a while or even stop looking at the share price One option might be to sign up to the RNS service on VRS website if you have not already done so and then rejoin the forum when you have real news rather than allowing all the noise of both positive and negative speculation get in the way. | philbyk7
23/2/2019 00:11 | smallfry - trust me - the size of your holding does not (or should not) confer status. You have always appeared very honest, and when you say your £30,000 is your whole long term future (my words), I doubt anyone is going to question it. In short - no way are you a 'small fry' - far from it. I haven't had the time to look at your 'history' so don't know if you've had an opportunity to Meet Neill and the team. Given your obvious commitment, then you really DO need to do that. I don't know if you've submitted to attend the March 7th London lunch, but if you have, you and your good lady are welcome to stay at my pad in west London if you live out of town. I've also asked for a couple of tkt's but nothing back yet, but no matter. Have a good week-end - Spike | spike_1
22/2/2019 23:03 | Although I initially said the day to day movements in the share price would not bother me I have to be honest and say that I was a little nervous to say the least by the slide in value. I know for a lot of you experienced holders on here this may be part of the course And like a poker player you keep your nerve along with Faith. Because I have invested everything £30000 which took as many years to save. But I am still holding tight and will do. Because I believe in the products and the team I can honestly say I will be delighted if one day I can say to my wife We can have a good holiday and a better retirement because I have no personal pension So for me this is it I will also be delighted for Neil when he proves all the bloody doubters and disrespectful idiots out there wrong, those who seem to get their kicks from doing very little but running him and the team down. My respect for Neil grows by the day They toss all the dross at him and he takes time to answer them. A big thanks as always to those whose in depth research and diligence make small guys like me feel a little taller. | smallfry1
22/2/2019 22:33 | Miers is was just trying to undermine VRS with lies for personal gain. Scumbags those lot. | superg1
22/2/2019 22:21 | Just been looking at share prophets blog on 9th October lucian Miers indicated Neil was some sort of charlatan . And he was short here. How different from how Scrutable found him i thought. | ripley94

22/2/2019 21:19 | This economist article from 4 years ago talks about graphene in composites re future aircraft. BUT skim forward to the economics of lightweighting re new tech seats: in the example, new titanium/carbon fibre seats cost 3 times more than the current aluminium (per 2015) but savings in fuel offsets this. Plus more passengers can be carried. Very interesting. If you can introduce lightweighting products, there is probably scope for decent margins ? Seems a canny move by neill and co ! Aimo. Best ellis Airline interiors: Flying into the future. 'How technology is changing the passenger cabin for whatever class you fly.' May 28th 2015 "...Carbon fibre is already widely used to make aircraft fuselages and wings. It is stronger than steel but lighter even than aluminium. That strength comes from the powerful links between carbon atoms—similar to the toughness imparted to a diamond. The fibres are woven together and arranged in position using detailed computerised stress-analysis for maximum strength. The fibres are then embedded in a hard resin. Carbon technology is advancing rapidly, with even greater performance characteristics claimed for single-atom-thick layers of graphene. Such work may well lead to the advanced composites needed to make bionic fuselage structures. New lightweight technologies are also having an impact in the back of the aircraft. Last year Air Mediterranée, a French carrier, removed the 220 economy seats in an Airbus A321—it bought them for about $300,000 in 2006—and replaced them with a new, lighter version. The skinny seat (pictured) is made by a Paris startup called Expliseat and weighs just 4.2kg (9.3lb) compared with the 12kg seat it replaced, says Air Mediterranée& | ellissj
22/2/2019 20:48 | Sit in an aeroplane and look around - almost everything you can see can be made lighter, and at the same time sufficiently fire resistant, and lightness is the holy grail. So - off the top of my head we are looking at stronger / lighter overhead luggage compartments, seat tables (mentioned by Neill previously), wall and ceiling cladding (a biggie !), meal trays, trollies (all mentioned by Neill previously), carpets have been mentioned here. All - I believe are non structural so can be introduced quickly, and we KNOW that a nanene parts have passed fire testing. Seems to me it is 'just' a matter of time to get ourselves ingratiated into the current interior manufacturers product offerings. We shall see. We know that at least one of them has us on board ;0) Best wishes - Spike | spike_1
22/2/2019 20:33 | Shavian at al, NR used to mention trolleys back in late 2016 and early 2017, especially mentioned during investor day on 28Mar2018. | ashehzi
22/2/2019 19:46 | This introduction to a mkt analysis report shows direction of travel for aircraft seat manufacturers. (Excuse the pun) It says extremely competitive, new tech etc. Lets hope we have a successful market entry here. Aimo. 22/2/2019 18:26 | Ellis, I think from what Neill said that we are past the stage you are suggesting re the plane parts, they are actually fitting them now into planes on short haul flights in Europe. | woodpeckers |
