21/2/2019 21:05 | Club, I have invariably indicted you in many of my posts. Your awful vitriol towards Scrutable outraged me. Having said all this, your post above does you proud. Try never to get into this situation again. Best wishes as you move forward in life. | ![]() ridicule
21/2/2019 20:59 | Going to rename you 'Riddler' superg... :-) | ![]() woodpeckers
21/2/2019 20:59 | With regard to CS I have little doubt that Scrutable would like to see him redeem himself (I think he can afford psychotherapy, the right therapist could be transformative) but I agree with Woody that he must grovel to Neill before we mortals forgive. | ![]() hoverflyman
21/2/2019 20:58 | My guess is jinjan is of them - the 'breaking protocol'to meet vrs delegation in china says they are keen to me. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
21/2/2019 20:57 | Really not sure what a chairman would bring to the party. Neill very definitely seems to have a strategy all worked out which the rest of the board seem to be more than happy with. Why introduce more people unless there is a role that needs filling? | ![]() woodpeckers
21/2/2019 20:56 | There was a word in there to tell you what my number 3 is. But obviously it stood out to me as I know what I'm working on and have found. It was on the table at GEIC. | ![]() superg1
21/2/2019 20:54 | Indeed and thx hover, i think neill clocked his #c@apgate moment, but managed to smile, refocus and carry on. Well done to him. Unlike myself, in fits of laughter ! :-0 best ellis | ![]() ellissj
21/2/2019 20:54 | Well I wondered who the 5 are and now I can work out where to look. I was up to 3, one of which was China, 2 are China it seems and I've heard mutterings of something huge in South Korea but I have no idea with who or what it is (yet). Could be the wrong track for the 5th one but that's the best yet. Could be Gnano of course who have something up their sleeve for this year. But then there is India with similar big noises. Anyway 4 sorted 3 plus one that unknown China near term one, could be the graphene valley. Tunghsu I have as one of the 2. | ![]() superg1
21/2/2019 20:46 | One NED but only if adds value. No chairman, they have an acting chairman who supports but doesn't interfere, a new chairman could be a problem for Neill if he/she interferes. | ![]() serratia
21/2/2019 20:30 | An excellent IG interview and well worth watching. Much as I enjoyed some of the Podcasts with Justin over the past year or so this latest interview is, I believe, more in line with where VRS now looks to be positioning itself as an international player with a wider appeal to investors.I am quite intrigued by the reference to Cannacord and their exposure to investors in markets that VRS are looking to operate. Why would this be important to the company at this stage? With the reference to JVs and key customers providing investment for scaling up in recent RNS's there would seem to be a near-term benefit of an experienced broker in such markets. | ![]() redstone64
21/2/2019 20:25 | Thx will add. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
21/2/2019 20:21 | Good interview...as others pointed out. It's a process. Investors need to take a mediums to long-term approach | ![]() captain_kurt
21/2/2019 20:20 | Well done Ellis, great summary. Although it was stressed, quite rightly, that this is very much a process which will take time, there was also a lot in today's interview which confirms that there will be a continual stream of news which will keep us all happy. | ![]() woodpeckers
21/2/2019 20:18 | Oh yes, fair point skipper, will add. Best ellis. | ![]() ellissj
21/2/2019 20:17 | Great summary Ellis, but you missed out what to some might be a very important point, his intention to strengthen the board. Let's face it, the VRS must currently be the smallest on AIM, and corporate governance is an important issue for any II's thinking of investing here. We all know that funds selling down can be a pain when they take profit, but boy could we do with some new blood in here now. A Chairman and a non exec should do the trick imo, followed by some share purchases in the open market. | ![]() the skipper

21/2/2019 20:12 | Nice one Neil! Excellent interview!Great interviewer too!Good questions!Best one yet!Very reassuring! Team focused on 5 key sectors!Makes deliverable business sense!AECOM happy too! Less waste & more Graphene used!Music to my ears!GLA | ![]() bobsworth
21/2/2019 19:57 | Exactly JV. Smaller mfr's use batch process. Continuous is what we see as 'the production line'. | ![]() clint fleecewood
21/2/2019 19:55 | I'm looking forward to the Cannacord broker's note.... | ![]() richgrumpa
21/2/2019 19:42 | zagrosfold - continuous processing, my understand is rather than making a single batch at a time it is a process whereby feedstock goes in one end and product comes out the other, a “continuous process”. A key step in scaling up production. | ![]() johnveals
21/2/2019 19:36 | bravo neill, fabulous interview. Must have settled the jitters of some. Oosed reassurance. Open and kept it down to earth and simple. Has No need to brag, just stated the facts. Neill aims to build a successful, large company. Behind neill and co to achieve it. Aimo. Glalth. Best ellis Here's my takeaways: Vrs are the leaders, already there's consolidation in industry. Aircraft parts are for shorthaul european flights, in use as we speak ? I think that's right ? Higher quality, higher margin - try to get the best price we can. Cannacord - signed them for bigger intl reach. Working on a Brokers note. Re scale up - working with partners to get continous processing, not a done deal yet, but confident of doing so. Clients have confidence (because we keep it straight) and that's why so many signed collabs last year. Multiple construction sector opportunities. Usa, europe and far east. Very pleased with aecom progress. Very large structures. Testing going well. Prior knowledge gained at UoM and U of Exeter has helped. Less material needed for testing than planned for, more for final structures. In F1 neill learned from the greats that any problem can be overcome. Vrs materials have passed every test put in front of them. With a massive hopper full, strategy to identify 5 key target companies. Construction. Textiles, chinese. Focussed on Need to validate their model. Nda, collab, testing, products, orders. Twitter, is about providing transparency and accountability to shareholders, who hand over their trust. 10% shareholder, his aims aligned with holders. Not often seen on Aim. Recently some good foundation work with 5 ambassadors, and global firms, gaining their support. Intl expansion - china, japan, korea and singapore. Brexit, unconcerned either way, need certainty - markets impacted. Vrs has massive opportunities in europe and overseas. Per skipper - Great summary Ellis, but you missed out what to some might be a very important point, his intention to strengthen the board. Per woody/ck - this is a process. (See following posts.) Any corrections, let me know. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
