22/2/2019 18:20 | Interesting spike. If it is seat backs, then maybe a sample will be 'road tested' if that's the word, under real life conditions, and if successful, a whole plane fitted ? I have no idea how this might work. Can Anyone with experience shed some light ? Ie using 1 seat back for such a sample test seems of little value. Ie as a representative sample, would 1, 10, a whole back row, 50% of total number be approriate? If, lightweighting and saving fuel is as important, it might make sense to refit the whole plane to test 'real life' fuel savings ? Or maybe not tested like this at all, just installed. In which case it would make sense to refit the whole plane ? Either way, important development to my mind. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
22/2/2019 18:12 | Taikor I am not rubbing it in, clearly you didn’t check my posts. I think it’s criminal how PIs have been misinformed and what Arden did. Timbo the lead voice trashing any negativity was simply deceived by Haydale bosses. I’ve seen it so many times before. It’s a good lesson for many green investors, some of which read here and appreciate learning about how bent the market is. | ![]() superg1

22/2/2019 17:56 | Shavian, aircraft parts: Neill said that a part "is going into short haul flights in Europe as we speak". However the RNS talks of parts (plural) so we can reasonably expect more I'm guessing. Neill's description of the part ties in with the part (scaled down version for briefcase).he showed us in the London pub on 6th December. I'm 99% sure it is the basic seat back which provides the back support, and would fit inside a metal frame/shassie which would attach to the floor seat rail, and obviously the cushions mounted (velcro?) on top. I questioned him at thje time as to whether this would be part of a regular periodic refurb, and he said no, they are so impressed (weight saving mostly I'm guessing) that they are being installed as a one off. Have a good week-end - Mike | ![]() spike_1
22/2/2019 17:53 | I'm just seeing herd mentality. And most importantly a belief that VRS have something special, when Rickets himself says pricing will be subject to competitor pricing etc. Sitting on committees and being lauded by some halfwit in a government department is not evidence of having something special. Something special is when someone pays you a lot of money and there's no sign of that. Maybe there will be. | ![]() eezymunny

22/2/2019 17:04 | Eezymunny, I can understand the PI wariness ( it's to be applauded) towards the science of graphene and the potential of being hoodwinked by unscrupulous companies, as has been done in the past and probably still is...All I will say is,If this is a sting then her majestie's government has also been had, due to Versarien having 2 secondees from the Department of International Trade.I would have thought that some serious due diligence had been put in by the government before making such decisions.First secondee:https://www | ![]() affc21
22/2/2019 16:43 | Indeed shavers, i agree - they look keen to me ? I recall iain gray tweeting congrats at the time of the rns and said 'just the beginning.' Very encouraging imo. Enjoy yr weekend. 22/2/2019 16:27 | I thought he trod a good line between communicating excitement re progress but stopping short of promising anything short term (or in any timescale). He has been critiqued for breaking promises re delivery but I don't think that's the case. | chumbo

22/2/2019 16:17 | Yes I could appear as a clueless ramper Eezy Munny, but I have been castigated in the past for being too hard on VRS prospects. Let me see, you first appeared on this Board on the 19 Feb, a few short days ago. Could you let me have synopsis on your research of this company so that we can compare notes. | ![]() ridicule
22/2/2019 16:13 | Only just managed to catch the IG interview. Echo previous comment, very measured and in control. I did detect NR having to check himself at least once so as not give anything away that is not already in the public domain. Good to see them concentrating on the 5 opportunities and good to see people in Europe looking at scale up. Exciting time to be a holder. | ![]() rafboy

22/2/2019 16:02 | jbe81, that's a very one sided point of view, the other side of the argument is that on no news we could sink again, but I hope you're right.. although I wouldn't mind touching 60p a final top up and more cheap shares! but I don't want the shorters to have called it right either. | ![]() mryl
