21/2/2019 05:45 | Good morning genuine VRS shareholders The RNS dated 4 February 2019 provided a great deal of info: National Graphene Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre (NGSIC) in Wuxi. Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are very pleased with the further progress we are making in China. We have already secured partnerships with a number of leading manufacturers across a variety of sectors, together with securing formal relationships with Chinese provincial government bodies. "Since entering into these relationships in the later part of last year the rate of progress has been impressive and we are now at the stage where we have defined work programmes with a number of the partners. In conjunction with the GEIC and the other facilities and expertise available to the Company we are confident that we can make rapid progress this year with the commercialisation of graphene enhanced products both in China and globally with our partners." | harrysol
21/2/2019 03:55 | Morning Spike, I am not really sure how I am meant to reply to your questions when you have me on filter, doesn't that defeat the purpose of asking a question if your not interested in the answer ? ____________________ spid - excuse my crass ignorance, but if VRS is so obviously useless, I assume you are not a shareholder. This being the cae - WHY - exactly do you waste your time on this BB??? And don't say you are simply trying to warn us or help us - excuse me BUT Versariens are NOT naive. Of course you could be shorting - oh! heaven's above, surely not. Enough - Filtered! | ![]() spid81
21/2/2019 02:13 | Don’t want to sound too evangelical about my faith in VRS indeed I even troubled by my own terminology however my understandings of the scale of the opportunity and my results based belief in the team at VRS has resulted in my having virtually no anxiety over the recent share price attack. My expectations for the future share price once driven by global sales across 40 plus industry sectors allows me to view the recent episode in the correct long term perspective as transitory and irrelevant. Just look at The many listed companies with revenues of £50M - £100m where the share price is in the £1k - £3k range and realise that VRS will potentially have revenues that are multiples of these values. if you calibrate your expectations of the share price for VRS to match these many examples it becomes difficult to get anxious about fluctuations that are measured in pennies. Just do your own research and I hope that you will see, as I do, that we are at the forefront of the 4th revolution and that these expectations are not unrealistic. If another attack happens just stay calm and carry on. | ![]() evergreen8

20/2/2019 21:50 | Spot on spike - the shorters are here to profit at our expense and steal our wealth. They spread fear and slander posters and Neill Ricketts. They are not here to help us, but to help themselves. Those that have listened to the shorters will have lost £1000s. | harrysol

20/2/2019 21:17 | Ellissj and Superg - yes, there is so much going on. At the geic event, Neill and co reiterated that VRS are very fussy about the collaboration partners and are not just doing business with anyone and everyone. VRS are very selective and will only collaborate with those companies who will bring in long term value. I think we forget exactly how much VRS have achieved. Superg - keep up the good work. Ellissj - I enjoy your posts. | harrysol
20/2/2019 21:13 | And Gnanomat also would now be able to use the expertise and technical facilities at the WMG...with Gnanomat being within the fold of VRS.Gnanomat cathode/anode with graphene, but to be more specific, with VRS Nanene.Which adds stability and endurance to the charging cycle.Plenty to be excited about here... | ![]() affc21
20/2/2019 21:06 | Good Evening Mike, Don't get to excited about WMG, after nearly 3 years of collaboration there has been no battery development between Versarien and WMG, I know of other companies "Talga" who have provided numerous updates from their battery collaboration agreement with WMG. Here is the VRS Announcement, | ![]() spid81
20/2/2019 20:53 | That development work started in feb 2016 per below mou with wmg. Patience reqd to research and then commercialise new tech, but 2D materials are so disruptive the potential rewards are too? Neill and co driving this tech forward quicker than i hoped for. Aimo. Best ellis 'GRAPHENE ENHANCED BATTERY.' Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the AIM quoted advanced engineering materials group is pleased to announce it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with WMG (“Warwick Manufacturing Group”) to collaborate on the production of power storage devices such as batteries and supercapacitors using Versarien’s graphene nano platelets. Working with the SME team and battery specialists, Versarien will have access to WMG’s expertise and world leading facilities in the Energy Innovation Centre. WMG was founded by Professor Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya in 1980 to help reinvigorate UK manufacturing. From its inception WMG’s mission has been to improve the competitiveness of organisations through the application of value adding innovation, new technologies and skills deployment, bringing academic rigour to industrial and organisational practice. WMG bridges the gap between academia and industry, enabling the development of innovative products. In the field of batteries, conventional battery electrode materials can be significantly improved when enhanced with graphene. The use of graphene can allow the production of batteries that are lighter, more durable and suitable for high capacity energy storage, as well as shortening charging times. In addition, the combined use of graphene enhanced batteries and graphene enhanced supercapacitors, which charge and discharge much faster than a battery, could yield substantial benefits in applications such as electric vehicles. Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versairen plc commented: “We are delighted to be working on this project with WMG and we look forward to developing a technologically advanced lithium battery that will have numerous applications in real life. The expertise in this field cultivated at WMG, University of Warwick, is second to none and the opportunity to be working alongside them is very exciting for Versarien as we look to maintain our position as one of the leading international experts in graphene production and its applications. We anticipate that the MOU will enable us to collaborate on a number of projects with WMG.” Date February 24, 2016 | ![]() ellissj
20/2/2019 20:43 | In that she news pleased to have entered into these new collaborations and to have received our first Nanane order from a Chinese battery manufacturer. I think there is so much news many tend to forget just how much is going on. Then we have Gnano which I understand is due to launch a product (surely battery related) this year. | ![]() superg1
20/2/2019 20:42 | I thought it was strange with no mention of Graphene. | ![]() rogerbridge
20/2/2019 20:41 | Just as reminder July 2018 Versarien has been working with WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group) and their partner companies and scientists at the universities of Warwick and Cambridge to collaborate on the production of power storage devices such as batteries and supercapacitors using Versarien's proprietary Nanene graphene nano platelets. Significant advances have been made through incorporating the Company's high quality graphene into these devices and the Company looks forward to commercial products becoming available in due course. The relationship with WMG has now been supplemented by a number of other agreements that provide Versarien with access to both leading technology providers and manufacturing expertise, both in the UK and overseas, including China. | ![]() superg1
20/2/2019 20:39 | Just as reminder VRS has a member of staff at the WMG. | ![]() superg1
20/2/2019 20:31 | Re - the video Mike posted about WMG and the fact they did not mention graphene. Firstly it is a VERY educational vid (17 mins) explaining how very basic batteries are . Secondly the fact that they didn't mention graphene tells me: 1) we are on the wrong track OR 2) we are leading the pack. Given Neill's 'nose' for what is ahead of the game - I'll go for 2, and we shall see. Best wishes - spike | ![]() spike_1
20/2/2019 20:12 | Mega Re IG. As I posted out to someone, I have been encouraging people to close their IG accounts and some have, hence as each one closes the percentage can change. They loan the stock bought by those long and give out details of what is going on. So anyone with an IG account imo over time close it, IG staff are no better than the nomads. I didn't have VRS in an IG account I just used it for bad news trades but once I learned of their game I closed it and stuck it in a share account, I don't gear. It was just handy in a fast moving market as sometimes stock idled on the IG account and was like an extra MM to buy and close into. | ![]() superg1
