Bill I suggest you read some investing books. The key to profitability is buying low and selling high, you appear to be doing the opposite.

Well done ratpat, if only we'd all had your foresight. I bought in with an average of 150 on the back of all the promises from Mr Ricketts. I've now lost 30 percent of my original Investment. No ones fault but my own I'll admit. ISO accreditation was imminent almost a year ago. I now ask myself if ISO will make any difference anyway. As Neill has said it doesn't really matter and the proof is in the product....which as yet no-one appears to want in any quantity.
Remaining unemotional and detached from the share price is what has kept me clinging on from the highs of 190 to my sell price of 108. Capital preservation has now taken priority. Good luck to those with faith that continue to hold.

adejuk - the issue is how one defines near future. I made a post after the GEIC suggesting it may be 2020 rather than 2019 before we really see some traction and big orders coming through.

nr was too bullish re the china deal. it turned out to be much more complex than he had imagined. not surprising really. not many peeps have experience in dealing there. hence the dti secondments.

Adejuk, despite my reservations about many aspects of the VRS story, I haven't sold any, for the reason you state. If I ever sell on a spike down, it's always a wrong decision... I'm not selling the ones I bought only last week at a 20% loss. However, we are creating another problem. We are attracting a raft of buyers who will be selling again when this rises, if it rises.A share with no positive cash flow and no institutional interest of any kind is a very dangerous share to be in.

I think it gives us comfort as LTH to buy into the story that the big bad funds have been selling off as it portends an end to the sell off and therefore a sense of some order amidst the chaos. I don't doubt the huge fund sell off though.
I agree with superg that we now have taking over an air of panic and distressed selling amongst the retail investors. I don't blame those who bought in above 120-130 for selling as they are new to the company and are not seeing serious orders being announced yet, plus they are considerably underwater.
The support level previously has been around 105-106 so lets see if that holds , if so we have seen a quick bounce up from this level several times.
Very reminiscent of when I first invested here back in the day with an average of 28 only to see the share price halve and made me feel very nervous .Again that was driven by a massive fund sell off - LO. Then VRS were in the prolonged lab to collab phase with a news drought.
We are in the next leg up now with collab to order stage which I suspect will go on for another few nail biting months yet but good things come to those who wait...

given the news, which we know is in the pipeline in the near future, a rational person would not sell at these levels unless it is forced.

So by now if you haven’t worked it oit, if Miton have been active this month on the level of last month then their holding is about to be zero.

Clearly some PIs have sold out who
which compounds the drop.

Herald over the last 3 months only sold 50k. As said Katie tends to feed the MMs when they are crying out for stock.

My invitation to the private Twitter group seems to have been delayed in the post. Not that I'd understand much of what goes on there I don't suppose.

Ash

Just like I pointed out Deka were up to 740k.

The relevant Herald fund (Investment trust) was on 728k going into Feb.

Miton werenear the 500k mark in each of the two funds. They had sold near 2 mill Nov/Dec/Jan.

I suspect they will have been active on the China news. If they have, going by Jan activity, what they had left not currently sold could be sat on the MM books.

The supply causes a drop. The drop causes PIs to sell by choice or by geared forced selling.

hattie: re fitting into a container: The VRS team were last month at the equipment manufacturers discussing the technical aspects of fitting it into a container/s as complete 'stand alone' units.

Whilst this 'new facility' isn't specifically designed to fit in a container, it does suggest the machinery inside could if designed to do so.

Best wishes - Spike

Spike does that photo link in with what was said about it fitting into a container as the size and dimensions appear container sized .... multiple machines in multiple containers bieng shipped to where they are required ? ...
