'Hong Kong: Stocks rise on trade deadline hopes'

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose at the open on Wednesday after US President Donald Trump hinted he could push back his March 1 deadline for a trade deal with China.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.15 per cent, or 42.83 points, to 28,214.16.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.10 per cent, or 2.63 points, to 2,674.52, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.16 per cent, or 2.12 points, to 1,366.27.

I used to go through the history of any new posters to try to work out if they were just being diligent and challenging things rather than up to mischief. Then engage and share views etc.

I don't have the time to do that currently or the inclination. Anyone can post on any other thread or set up their own.

I pay quite a bit for the privilege of being able to run a thread with trolls on it that can be blocked. I also provide info which at times would not be available, EG what MMS are doing amounts, holdings data and so on.

So if someone wants to just register various names offer nothing and goads others that do contribute then they can forget it or pay the subscription. I just then filter them.

It still cheaper overall to have a petrol or diesel. My car cost £750 and costs me £100 pm to fill up . That means in 15 years I use £18000 of fuel. You would need to have an ev for 20 to 30 years for it to pay for itself

Been busy with some training (ongoing) and then sorted a friends heating tonight which had stopped working.

Little time to read and post. Just saying as I haven’t been able to track who is doing what on level 2.

What I have been told today is that Bego did 378k shares. All of Mitons Jan sales went through Bego so it could be Miton once more. Miton have sold good chunks in Nov, Dec and Jan. Obviously they are exciting so good reason to think some current selling is them.

I suppose as the number held drops it matters not what price they get for the last batch.

After all they had 15 million at one point last year and have made a hell of a profit.
