14/2/2019 14:42 | As Neill tweeted, the interview with Dr Baker and the US Graphene Council is worth 37 minutes of anyone’s time. It paints a very encouraging landscape for the future of all sorts of graphenes, including the bulk use of MLG from XG into the Ford F-150 pickup and new Mustang. We should not feel frustrated by this; any big orders will help create the positive public image which graphene needs en route to everyday adoption. I appreciate that for some, any mention of other company successes with be complete anathema. Forget it, this is bulk lower quality graphene in the Ford deal. We know, AECOM knows, the Chinese know, even if our detractors do not, that Versarien has something extra special to offer, and this will become crystal clear in the weeks and months to come. I don’t know why James Baker consistently fails to promote VRS in any way, which seems like a missed opportunity for UK graphene in general. I have noticed this in the past and have suspected a hint of personal jealousy in his continuing silence on the subject, but having listened in depth to this interview, I note that he seems to deliberately avoid mentioning any individual company, which I suppose is fair enough, given his role as the organiser and promoter of graphene in Manchester University and specifically the GEIC. I’m happy to let the results do the talking as they start to roll in as 2019 unfolds. | ![]() shavian
14/2/2019 14:41 | I think it's Cambridge and Manchester University's plus links to government and all the institutions that give versarien such credibility | ![]() 1teepee
14/2/2019 14:38 | Fest - in terms of independent proof as to the quality of VRS's graphene, I'm not sure - short of the ISO (and equivalent standards), how that can be provided? Companies - like Aecom for instance, are not in the business of publicly 'verifying' a material, what they are doing however, is seeing if it can work for them, which at the end of the day is what matters. If subsequently a better and / or cheaper equivalent comes along then they may just move on. So ..... we can but trust - or not - the myriad of large international conglomerates that are working with VRS, in many cases not simply testing the material but trialing it in specific commercial projects. Best wishes - Spike | ![]() spike_1

14/2/2019 14:24 | I just picked up on the point that you think the CEO should grace you with a visit - why should he? There's no hostility in my response unless you choose to interpret it as such, which incidentally seems to be anyone that disagrees with you. There have been a number of events over the last couple of years you could have availed yourself to, had you been able or wanted to. To be honest, if I had as many shares as you I would never pass up the opportunity, in fact, I've been to four events over the last year and have found each to be an invaluable opportunity to talk to the VRS staff and shareholders. Much is talked about and it's done far more for my confidence in my investment than any RNS. However, some have stated that attendance of such things is no better than brain washing. | ![]() tini5
14/2/2019 14:18 | Tini, you've just proved my point, and you obviously didn't read what I said.Mahee, yes, I've seen Huggins of such reports, including on the BBC news. But none of them have anything to do with VRS. | ![]() festario |
