I do use charts, but only on the main market. Anyone who has spread bet will know never to bet a share with turnover of less than 3m shares a session to ensure statistical significance. The same applies to charting in my view. VRS share turnover is way below these levels; moreover they are on Aim, a market that is news driven.

For all the reasons I posted last night, the slowdown of newsflow has produced a declining share price. This as night follows day will mean that the 50 day moving average will cross the 200 within a few weeks. This is not a chartist signal for a company like VRS, however, because the MMs make the share price move on low volume and it will turn on a dime on the first big order. This could come tomorrow or in a month’s time. If it is the latter case, the share price will continue to fall.

This does present a dilemma for those of a nervous disposition. Sod’s law says if they sell the news arrives the next day, if they hold then news takes longer to arrive.

Buy and hold based on belief and good research is, therefore, the only way to make big money on Aim in my view.

ouch! another move down 116p, some sensible people are looking for 100p, or maybe are the shorters idea if they manage to do it.

It looks like the one at the top is running out of ideas as the RNS are faltering lately. 8 days without news I can't believe it.

Couldn't resist, another 4k for me.

You may not hear from me for a long time, I decided to spend less time on advfn and do less price monitoring.
I have every confidence that VRS is going places and that the share price will be higher in 2 years and much much higher in 10 years time, which is my investment timeframe, so all this monitoring is a bit silly really.

I'll just have an alert set at 80p-ish and funds ready in case the doomsayers are right. Which would actually be fantastic as it would mean more cheap shares.. but I don't expect to be that lucky.

GLA vrsfamily, I'll miss this board, I hope I have been able to contribute constructively while I was around.
Behave while daddy's away and don't bother with the troublemakers they are not worth it.

Vrs can't control the macro picture - economics, trade, bexit, investment conditions, orders etc. At a micro level, the share is good and only getting better, esp since oct. Cannacord saw fit to make the china update a notifiable rns. Waiting for the short term dark clouds to shift here. The sky above is bluer than ever. Aimo. Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis

I did say that Mike Brenner was wrong to slam Luckyorange. Lucky has been vindicated. But he did say it would bounce off this level, I sincerely hope he was right about that too! No sign yet though.

Quite correct Dolores. Smart money is made at times like this. Absolutely fully loaded with VRS shares and quite content. Lots happening that we are not aware of for commercial reasons, should not too long now until blue touch paper is lit, in my opinion but others may have a different point of view.
