Yep, lost a similar amount today myself, on paper at least. However, nothing I can do about it now, it's called the stock market. Irritating though, given some of the over excitable statements that have been made by our CEO and others during 2018.I do sense that they have reined in that kind of behaviour now to a large degree.

Nice to see this thread getting calmer as today draws to a close. A few reflections:

1. There are still many million shares in PI hands that were purchased at 20p or lower. September 2017 is still only 17 short months ago! Such holders, while hoping for even greater gains now have events unfolding as time passes - new car, daughter’s wedding, job house move etc, couple these events with the outrageous comments by the likes of CS et al and the situation is bound to produce sellers with such a big profit margin at stake.

2. The current VRS share price is way beyond normal metrics of P/e, eps etc and is, therefore, dependant on news flow. It is again, therefore, inevitable that the relative reduction of newsflow during January, compared with December, will create selling pressure. The MMs, who are always trying to squeeze a few extra points in their margin will always exploit this situation.

3. Long term investors should not be phased by my first two points. Neill Rickets is exceptional. His statement that we are all engaged in a carefully thought through process in the VRS family is a game changer. If he had not followed that doctrine, we would not be in the fantastic position we are in. The number of Fortune 500 collaborations, the China position, backed by Government, the two DIT senior secondees, the US promotion of VRS to the Graphene Association Council ahead of US Companies, all make VRS truly exceptional to an unprecedented level.

4. There was a buy today of 50k shares @ £1.20. That buyer almost certainly shares my views.

On paper, I have lost the equivalent of 10 luxury Lanzarote holidays on my VRS holding today - £48k. I will sleep well in the knowledge that Neill knows much more than I do about what will unfold in the next few weeks or months.

Didn't Rainbow's proclamations of doom always seem to coincide with a rise in the share price? No coincidence he's been absent since October...

Probably means an RNS in the morning... you heard it here first ;)

Graphene not mentioned, but 3 sections explaining how lightweighting of cars can be achieved by this manufacturer. Best ellis

"Lightweight special: Everything covered."

"Eliminating a few kilograms in the right places can mean big CO2 savings for car manufacturers. And if a lightweight part can also offer additional advantages beyond its low weight, even better! The cargo cover from Freudenberg Performance Materials (FPM) is an innovative example. Dr. Alen Nosic, Global Strategic Business Unit Manager Automotive, explains what sets the FPM solution apart from the competition...."

Ah rainbow - about time you slithered out over the edge of the petri dish again, is it still '50p by Christmas' - ops my mistake Christmas come and gone and - as I recall - no 50p, or for that matter anything close.

Keep trying - you really do have good comic value.

Best wishes - Spike

This isn't even a jam tomorrow share now. Looking at the share price I'd say it's jam yesterday and downhill from there. Did someone say "£2 by Xmas"?.£1 by Friday I say.

Sounds like a potential gamechanger to me imo. Supercap/battery for extending ev range. Best ellis.

Neill Ricketts @neillricketts

"Bit more complicated than that but a combination of supercaps for fast charge/discharge, and batteries for cruising and storage. Great control systems to maximise range between 2."
