10/2/2019 09:13 | FatManDancing 58815 - I understand that you have an issue with Fest and his interpretation of your twitter response and you dealt with that as you saw fit. My problem is with the unnecessary contributions from others, some of whom seem to take delight in having a pop. I guess that's the nature of bulletin boards (and twitter) and why I choose not to post for the most part. I remain heavily invested in VRS (relatively - compared to others) and hope that we all reap the rewards in due course. That's all from me - back to reading, researching - and lurking.... 10/2/2019 09:05 | Agreed, sorry to see tina trolled on here. From what i can see, a fantastic supporter of vrs on twitter. And the part she played at the korean event very recently, lets not forget. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
10/2/2019 08:54 | Fest, i had a quick shufti at 'science daily.' It seems to me they report upon lab based research papers news. And not graphene producers news? Also vrs research will be under nda, so i wouldn't expect to see much. Imo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
10/2/2019 08:52 | Btw I have met Tina and her hubby at Geic. Absolutely fab pair and I could talk to them all day. On that topic, by chance I crossed paths with another VRS investor yesterday. My wife was so pleased that my entire interest turned to chatting about investing instead of the point of the circumstances of where we were at the time.😂 | ![]() superg1
10/2/2019 08:51 | Good post hew, like i was saying, lot's of good independent validations (and behaviours too) there. For myself, when first investing here, i was encouraged that the UoM became a shareholder in vrs following the 2D-tech ltd spin out. And likewise the UoC too. And since then gnanomat. All good behaviours, showing confidence in future returns. Back in jun16, there wasn't much more, aside from assessing the strategy as i saw it from the outside, of a company persuing disruptive tech alongside traditional businesses. Thereby minimising cash burn and shareholder dilutions. I was much encouraged by this, and pleased that neill had an engineering background - rightly or wrongly, i don't like to see boffins in charge. And that iain gray was on the board. As we have said, as it stands today, in terms of industry associations memberships, university and govt links, and tech - to my mind vrs is the most credible graphene story out there. And neill has skillfully and carefully crafted this story to grow and deliver a bona fide company that lots of pi's are proud to invest in. Matt walker looks as sound as a chap you'll find - he looks at home in vrs. If you're investing today, there's much more to go on. Grateful here for the stunning progress i've seen since becoming a holder. Plenty more to come in my view ! Aimo glalth. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
10/2/2019 08:38 | Imo the graphene council chat is a tad daft. I have never considered contacting any such organisations. Two reasons, one is that I doubt they know much about VRS and certainly far less than us and if they did know anything they wouldn’t tell me. What I do know from news and have no need to ask any one them is that China and various companies in China have tested VRS graphene. They don’t just love it they are excited by the opportunties it opens up. EG Tunghsu, underfloor heating and heating panels. As it stands Nanene is potentially the only verified graphene in China. China has 100’s of producers. A Cambridge graphene centre scientist puts the number at 6000+. Just 1 it seems meets the standard (VRS) hence the huge interest from them. | ![]() superg1
10/2/2019 06:42 | I see you have found yourself on the wrong side of the political fence. You are now an outlaw and dissident, welcome to the club;) we can see what they Post and also have secret conversations without state control and censorship. Fantastic! We accept you into our rebellion, we speak out when others go " ba ba ba" all bleating the national anthem of their great leader aka superb and his second in command aka mike brenner. Welcome festario:) | ![]() 1teepee
10/2/2019 02:25 | I wonder if anyone on the private Twitter group has got the integrity required to invite me to join?Or, at the very least to venture the opinion that it's just possible that I might just have a slight point?No... I thought not. | ![]() festario

09/2/2019 22:33 | Whiteslice do you think festario is being picked on? I am only here on advfn because festario took a Twitter ‘like’ of mine entirely out of context. How exactly is he being picked on in your opinion? | ![]() fatmandancing
09/2/2019 22:28 | Sorry CS - guessed you were replying to me so had to take you off filter to see what you had to say :-) No offence meant - I get frustrated by the side-shows on this bb from time to time and dip in and out with the filter button to keep my sanity. Probably going to get moderated now... | ![]() whiteslice
09/2/2019 22:01 | whiteslice - I posted earlier? Just to reiterate: of course I don't expect VRS to deliver *everything* now - these things take time - but I'd have expected *something* with significant monetary value by now. as one of my correspondents said recently: "collabs are vanity, profits are sanity". Not a view I *entirely* agree with - of course collabs are a necessary prerequisite to orders and profits - but there is surely something in that view. | ![]() club sandwich
09/2/2019 21:53 | When I logged in this evening and saw I had 50+ posts to read through since this afternoon I thought something interesting had happened... CS has gone quiet so it's pick on Festario time. Contrary to what some think - blue or black we're all equal on this board and our views equally valid, positive or negative as long as they're constructively made and if they aren't - filter. Simples... 10-10.. Out. | ![]() whiteslice

09/2/2019 20:06 | Fest, i merely state the obvious, the nature of this bb is what it is - because it's a shares forum, where many participants are invested. This determines the rules of discourse, And by the agreement of the majority of it's members - which are unspoken and taken as a matter of course. If we find ourselves outside these general rules, then we should know what to expect. I see there are other threads on vrs, where a 'free for all' ensues - but generally they are less populated. These are simple facts are they not? By all means proffer your opinions, but know the social norms (of this board) in which to frame them. Hope this clarifies. Agreed, we all want to do well here. Best ellis. | ![]() ellissj
