For Gods sake DMac. Learning to walk before you can run is a good thing imo. If the foundations are being built they are certainly not to support a ping pong table. Buildings tend to grow upwards, not from the top down.

If the revenues were significant, we would be told. VRS seem to be building foundations the size of several football pitches for a business the size of a ping pong table.

Who says the deals aren't revenue generating? Remember we don't give the graphene away.

Didn't NR say about 6 months ago that he would be disappointed if no revenue generating deals were signed in 6 months? Well?

SG - there are occasions where leveraged trades are sensible as part of a portfolio, usually in indices, currencies or commodities ETFs where multiple trades would be too difficult or expensive to transact. Needless to say these are normally professionally managed trades hedging a portfolio against a given outcome.

Large long or short leveraged bets on AIM stocks are basically no different to driving without a seatbelt.

from this morning's announcement:

".. The development of graphene-enhanced winter sports equipment, specifically targeted at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, to be held in Beijing..."

Much as Versarien might wish to continue helping Team GB win more medals at the Winter Olympics (see ) China will surely want to be THE big winner of medals in Beijing. And will want to capture the market for mass market sales of cheaper sleds in the aftermath. Versarien have already proved the concept and the effective application of it.

Hi Pshevlin,

You probably haven't noticed, All of the Chinese MOU's were entered into after Versarien joined GEIC,

IMO they don't want Versarien / Nanene, they want to be part of GEIC.

Indeed superg, and by virtue of their involvement in geic, we know tunghsu are serious about graphene. And by the amount of worldwide interest they know vrs are highly thought of and sought after. Chris smiling away in china was a very positive look. Whatever comes out down the line, should be pleasing for holders. This rns sets the scene for me, further news could land anytime ! :) all to play for. Aimo glalth. Best ellis

Late report from 8.03 it looks like 40k were dropped on Bego but they are on the bid now so they have sold them on it seems.

SG, it is said that there have been approaches and I am sure if Neill wanted funds, they would be readily available.

No need for cash at the moment unless Neill has an eye on a company with a unique technology or adding one that could add valueto the supply chain.

From what I have read and based on previous track record, Tunghsu will want some stake in the company and would have a vested interest in protecting the IP. A critical part of any negotiation.

Club, come on, do you honestly think the Chinese would be wasting all their time and effort in this if there wasn't the prospect of a serious amount of cash in it? I know you want quick profits but having been to GEIC and seen what is going on that is not going to be the business model. I'm happy with that but you probably won't be. Good luck anyway. Who knows, we might get an RNS that sends the share into rocket mode.

Eliss

The other point re Tunghsu is that they to a take a stake in whatever they get involved in.

They also seem to be the lead Chinese company graphene related interest. So I strongly suspect if VRS needed cash the likes of Tunghsu and others will be there waving the cheque book.

"I think there are some investors who haven’t realised the importance of today’s RNS"

or the markets, to judge by the price action so far today.

fingers in every red-hot sector pie out there - EVs, batteries, composites, tyres, space, aerospace to name but a few - with the collective R&D for those sectors in the billions or tens of billions of dollars - and in the last Half VRS's turnover was £5.22m, and most of that came from the existing (ie non-2D) businesses.

It's nothing short of totally pathetic. Is it only me who's wondering where the money is?

BTW, thanks for the several DMs I've had expressing support, from those scared to speak their mind on here for fear of the Screwfix Stalin.
