even if you think today's news is good, the obvious question to ask is: how are they actually going to make the stuff? They talk about a JV granted a license to the tech, which sounds sensible - but they haven't actually done it yet, have they? all this alleged demand, and no supply...

Carbon black is mainly used as a reinforcing filler in tires and other rubber products.

You cannot deny that 2019 isn’t going to be an exciting one for VRS and the graphene industry overall. With the amount of products to go at just in this RNS, the various lines of revenue through product enhancement, with relatively low barriers to entry and competition is mind boggling. With existing tech unable to compete with this frontier revolution those that aren’t already considering spending on R&D will soon have no choice but to consider and invest.

And with satisfactory testing completed, chinese firms know they are partnering with a bona fide company. And since the mou's announced, it seems further discussions have taken place, and matters progressed, which as we know wouldn't happen unless the pricing is right? Looking good to me. Aimo. Is this where the big scale up of product supply will possibly come from or are we looking at bulk production being built in China itself ?
I guess China but the graphite grades aren't great thus why they are coming to VRS ?

It sounds like Gnano have the secret ingredient Chinese companies were looking for. That's what attracted VRS in the first place and they acted quickly. The VRS fear was that some would sign up with Gnano and then put the Gnano value out of reach of VRS.

One part of the Gnano progress in the industry is mass production capability of graphene and the metal oxide mix.

One in a well known company in the battery tech sector called that combination the golden egg of the future battery technology.

If anyone wanted confidence that 2019 if going to be a great year then hat better.

I did note in Tunghsu own reports that they have a material interest in water based graphene ink heating panels. A sample of which was at GEIC but unknown who it is connected too. Axia in South Korea have similar ideas.

And that's just China. :-)

Indeed all, and this rns lays clear the rules of the game to suitors. Jv's arranged as win/win to parties - plenty of gravy here. No slice of the 'vrs plc' pie on offer ? An announcement based upon strength. With so much worldwide interest, this model is a great play by neill and co; protecting and building future shareholder value.
