A sensible move to a broker who knows how to promote........

For me Arden were useless right from the start but better than WI Ireland who again did nothing for their money.

Roll on VRS and with Trump calling for a "joint" IP bill to protect US businesses in China from having their IP stolen. So what would stop VRS from closing their Chinese MOU deals if this happened?

Any bill passed in both countries would in my view cover UK companies.

Watch the space on this one as the Trade Talks seem to be making good progress.

Hello Folks,
CANNACORD GENUITY RNS

Looks a great move. They are a bank so maybe they would invest in us?

Something on web about them expanding USA side.

RNS says ..with immediate effect.. so maybe they gave other lot notice some time back?

DTaliadoros - Anyone talking about when big RNS are going to drop is talking complete BS and should be ignored ... anyone backing up comments on why VRS making great business progress (or not) with real research to support insights (which you then validate with your own) are where you should focus on listening to.

What's all this talk about a big RNs dropping this Friday. Surely it's not the broker one is it?

The only way I can see a non 7am RNS is if it were in conjunction with a US company where they wanted to announce it and VRS would then announce either the same time or shortly after referencing US company announcement. We can hope

Tks Mikebrenner, interesting that during that period the share price did nothing, despite huge continued company progress, so imo, bodes v well now. Going forward.

Good post Ellissj, the housing crisis is a disgrace. For far too long the big builders have had a stranglehold on the housing market.
Providing finance can be made availabile for this new type of housing and people can borrow, it could go some way to solving the problems. We do need new companies to step in, maybe financed by pension and invest, met funds. If big builders are involved it could hold back progress.

Chillpill - you are right that it takes 3 months + due diligence time for new broker to complete the switch. Work backwards you will see the gnanomat purchase 1st October '18, where VRS went via Primary Bid to raise the money and arden missed out on a placing fee ... beneath the covers words that superg1 uses like "bent as F" show that all trust lost at that stage. Good we can move forwards with a broker capable of a) trust and confidentiality b) matching VRS global ambition.

It's old news but this article highlights why canaccord could be very useful in terms of vrs expansion planshttps://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/canaccord-financial-inc-announces-asia-expansion-546358572.html

Thx phoenix. I used housing as an example, but public infrastructure projects also highlighted by following phrase. Eg railways. Aecom announced as a preferred bidder i see. Aimo. Best ellis (edit - sorry, iro buildings.)

"This delivers on the Government’s Construction Sector Deal which pledges to build better performing buildings, using less energy and providing better value for taxpayers."

2D just to point out.

Cambridge Nano, synthetic gas cracking.

AGM a complicated looking CVD system of nano size, a type of gas cracking onto an max 1um substrate and then they have to get it off the microscopic substrate.

FGR electrochemical exfoliation.

VRS shearing forces separation is the first step.
Cambridge graphene, microfluidization. VRS also do CVD graphene, RGO and GO to order.

So you have two top down processes there (graphite as the source material) and two bottom up synthetic versions.

I understand Morgan advanced materials tried to develop the molten salts type route from Manchester but it wasn't viable. The visitors to Cambridge recently would have heard the false hype around that.

Superg1,

Were you talking about FGR being close to going into Liquidation ?

Or were you talking about Haydale,

I agree, Andy Goodwin has been a brilliant addition to FGR,

If you want I can tell you why he left Thomas Swan,

Thanks SG that's helpful to know. Watch this space then. Different type of tech, but VRS would do well to look at how Microsoft got big :)
