22/1/2019 08:12 | Firstly FGR are an Australian company so as they are outside of the EU they are required to have this registration in order to trade with EU countries. VRS do not need this as the UK is part of the EU. Post Brexit they will still be able to trade unlimited volumes through their recent Spanish acquisition. Neil and co should be complemented on their foresight do you agree? | redchef

22/1/2019 07:16 | Good morning SuperG1, Did you read FGR's announcement today, They secured their REACH approval which allows for them to sell more that 1t of graphene in Europe or the UK, Very interesting to see who was part of the consortium who are allowed to sell upto 10tpa of graphene, Do you know why VRS / Nanene is not part of this team, or why they are yet to get the approval ? I have read some tweets from your material scientist on twitter (to loglorry1), he told Log that nanene has a extremely limited shelf, that is why it has an extremely small surface area of 45m2 per gram. or what everyone else would call graphite. GRAPHENE REACH REGISTRATION CONSORTIUM: The Consortium was established by Applied Graphene Materials UK Ltd., NanoXplore Inc. and The Sixth Element (Changzhou) Material Technology Co. Ltd. to facilitate registration of graphene, graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxides within the European Union. FGR's ASX announcement | ![]() spid81

22/1/2019 06:00 | Graphene And Gold Nanowire, The Future Of Battery Tech Looks Promising. "Folks at Zap&Go have come up with a carbon-ion technology to replace the existing lithium-ion batteries. These batteries are safer to the environment compared to the highly toxic lithium-ion. Moreover, these batteries can be charged incredibly fast. The company has already built a power bank that can store 1500 mAh in mere five minutes. Zap&Go claims that its carbon-ion battery has fewer moving parts compared to the regular smartphone battery and hence can withstand 100,000 charge and discharge cycles without an issue. Its manufacturing process is quite like that of regular lithium-ion batteries, which ideally means that the manufacturers won’t have to completely rework the assembly line." | ![]() jointer13

21/1/2019 19:12 | On that note, here's a very good overview of electric vehicles. 2D materials in general are not mentioned per se. But In the last poddy, neill said vrs are talking to ev manufacturers around the world. Enjoy. Best ellis Autocar 2018 1st November 2018 • Charlotte Thiery "The 2018 Autocar supplement centered on the shift to electric vehicles and the role which British companies are playing in setting a precedent in this exciting global industry. 21/1/2019 19:07 | Thx woody, and exactly. It will become clearer when the iso standards are finally published, which shouldn't be too long now. This is a vital next step for me. If as expected, vrs 2D products attract iso accreditation, i feel certain more interest will be flushed to the surface. And we shall see what's what regarding the whole industry. Other than that, it's timescales. The length of time it takes to commercialise 2D products; for sectors such as aerospace, structural parts quite rightly take a long time. Hence the short term focus on non structural aircraft parts. More experienced posters than i have provided plenty of opinion upon how long it takes to bring products to market - and encouraged patience/realistic timeframes. Matt walker suggested aecom were one of the most innovative companies on the planet in august. And they seem to be living upto that billing. Clearly 2D is a new science, with great opportunties in many sectors, more than you can shake a stick at. And neill and co are very well positioned to take advantage. I make no apologies for looking at the blue sky in this share, because that's how it is valued. As the products come through and the metrics change, that is a different matter. But For then, i would suggest, not now. As these facts change, so shall the focus - and quite rightly. And i'm sure neill is plotting a course that will yield very good value for shareholders when the orders come through. And which for long term holders is worth waiting for. Aimo. Glalth.
