24/1/2019 09:17 | MJ It's probably some early doors low level one that nobody knows of or has heard about. Nothing in play is affected. Mountain molehill etc. | superg1
24/1/2019 09:16 | It can't go on for ever Fest. Defies logic. Question is when does it end? | pshevlin
24/1/2019 09:14 | "If a collab has been lost because of clues how does that tie in with the statement...no collabs lost to date?" (MJ10 post 57375) I'm guessing that's why the company now adds the phrase No collaborations lost "due to material performance" -or .. "due to product failure". In other words something HAS been lost - for some other reason (NDA breach or whatever) | grabster
24/1/2019 09:13 | 'Seller' its more than that... its been going on for 7 bloody months! | festario
24/1/2019 09:10 | Looks like our seller is prepared to accept less than 1.20 now. At least some buys kicking in. Just sorry I haven't got any cash to respond. | pshevlin
24/1/2019 09:08 | Mj10. Rns collabs all good per sat tweet. Some collabs are nda - Which is reason for loss? Per d kerr presentation pdf - no collabs lost because of product failure. You sound like norbus on this board lol ? ;) best ellis | ellissj
24/1/2019 09:05 | MJ10 ..i seem to remember recently it was said no collaborations have failed ..”due to the quality of the product”..happ | hattie1
24/1/2019 09:03 | Thanks woody... | metis20
24/1/2019 09:00 | Many thanks compoundup for that informative answer. I will keep an eye on this board and RNSs for more info on how the output/wk from the 3T machine, which you tell me has been delivered, installed and commissioned, develops. | metis20
24/1/2019 09:00 | lag If a collab has been lost because of clues how does that tie in with the statement...no collabs lost to date? | mj10
24/1/2019 08:59 | metis, re the 3T machine, Neill said it is now fully installed, checked by the engineers from Europe and making material. | woodpeckers
24/1/2019 08:59 | BTW apologies if mentioned as I too need to catch up on posts too. VRS staff currently with the kit supplier looking at and testing production quality on what sounded like a Nanene production line. That process I understand is what was described as a new way of producing Nanene. Same methods but co-ordinated nob count with some automation as a production line. There is more than one process to graphene producers which typically including the production method, separation and drying. I took it to mean much larger scale production. | superg1
24/1/2019 08:54 | Thx for info on gnano. Neill said per poddy that lab results put vrs/gnano 'at leading edge.' Very exciting. Below is gnano's twitter header. I spent an hour or 2 looking through #DeepTech following links etc. All about cutting edge next gen tech. 'Vision conferences.'Starts ups. Scandi unicorns etc ! Hopeful here ! Glalth. 24/1/2019 08:54 | Banning by the way is going to get more severe. It keeps getting dragged down here by constant drivel and engaging with known liars, disruptive or just unpleasant posters. So if you have been reading over the last couple of months then you know who not to engage with. So no moaning please if a ban appears. You are free to engage with them on other threads, create your own thread or via the PM system on ADVFN. | superg1
24/1/2019 08:53 | "Up and running" isn't sufficient to describe the performance of the new component of the production process. Neill listed the sequence of preparation, delivery, installation, commissioning that has all been done but said that work was still going on in the expectation that the ramp up to a new level of throughput would involve some challenges. VRS' production manager was working at the supplier's factory yesterday. Also, don't overlook that it's not about churning out 3T/yr or 60kg/wk. It's a case of fulfilling orders for a variety of specifications. | compoundup
24/1/2019 08:51 | If folk have paid attention to posts over the months then they would realise the Aecom product will probably equate to 1000's of them for the project. As in the RNS, it is not a typo. Don't just watch for news about it by VRS but also by Aecom. I'm in the mode of not repeating information anymore as over time I have noticed a few simply have a question and put it on here. Often a question can have been answered dozens of times indicating that the person asking the question can't be bothered to make the effort to read the thread. The majority know the answer. | superg1
24/1/2019 08:49 | That's why I think it was a well timed event . 100 % opposite view. | alchemy
24/1/2019 08:49 | Hi All, Well what can I say that other have not. Fantastic feedback from everyone ! Thanks compound up for clarifying the multistage production process. It answered one of my question about the volume increase from the 'new' process. The NDA lost order thing.. I thought a couple of RNS's have had too many 'clues' about the customer. Maybe guessing / naming them on here is a bad idea. I guess if they lost the order then were else will this customer go or does he just want graphene / graphite for a marketing tool/gimmick like super mentioned. Here's to Chris with the super pen !! | laginaneil
24/1/2019 08:46 | Thanks chumbo - maybe the person who posted the info about 3T up and running will post again for our reassurance... | metis20
24/1/2019 08:43 | Apologies Metis, I didn't mean to be abrupt. I was catching up with a day's posts and had read it a few pages previously but couldn't be more specific without trawling through them all again. | chumbo1
24/1/2019 08:41 | that sums it up for me .chartists predicting price rises are welcomed with open anmsand lucky is slagged off for daring to predict a possible drop.some need to open their eyes and accept everything is not perfect all the time and if you say you will never sell until 5 pounds or whatever why does it matter. The fact is some of these colabbs are taking longer turn into orders than anticipated but no one likes to admit it | mj10
24/1/2019 08:40 | So much for the market reaction to an investor site visit, markets want confirmed positive news flow. | ny boy
24/1/2019 08:39 | realcool, Grab - thanks. That's the rest of the morning gone with Grab's DailyWail-type puzzle... | axotyl
24/1/2019 08:38 | Might be a gap in the recycled carbon fibre market for +nanene here ? Current recycling methods (2017) produce a product that is weaker than the original. What if +nanene resin could be added to improve it's strength and therefore suitability into a greater range (and i assume more valuable) end products. Thus, by reprocessing with +nanene, value is added and likely would pay for itself. Win/win ? Just a thought. Aimo. Best ellis 'Innovation' 'Carbon fibre: the wonder material with a dirty secret.' "Researchers are scrambling for ways to get the strong, light material out of landfill and make it ready for recycling and reuse" Mark Harris @meharris Wed 22 Mar 2017 "...Both result in fibres that are shorter and more jumbled up than new ones, reducing their ability to bear heavy loads, says Steve Pickering, head of mechanical, materials and manufacturing engineering at the University of Nottingham. Recycled carbon fibre often ends up in tennis rackets and golf clubs, where low weight (and the cachet of carbon fibre) is more important than strength, says Pickering. “It’s still a good material but it’s not that much better than other cheap materials out there like aluminium and other composites,” he adds...." | ellissj
24/1/2019 08:37 | I'm still hearing negatives about Hayd btw. I can't say what but just mentioning my view. Sorry that it doesn't fit with some but they don't have the contacts I have. | superg1 |
