Indeed megan, it's understanding the blue sky that can help gain an advantage in risk/reward shares, especially before the market (and to quote superg) 'the herd' realises it. Imo. Best ellis

I have been particularly distracted over recent days, so have spent this morning on a major catch-up. Many many thanks to all for the excellent feedback from the GEIC.
Good luck to all.

Depends on how carefully you look at the Financial Statement. It's not just the bottom line.

Dont know if agree with that as outwith the near time projects longer term collabs could be adding deep and long twrm value but with a slow initial footprint via accounts.

Yep that's exactly what I heard ... Think he said machine was part of a 19/20 step process. That makes the know how of the process key to value long term.

Neill emphasised on more than one occasion that the machine is just one part of a larger process and downplayed the overall significance. What I heard was that they have been very open and honest in their discussions with clients regarding their production capabilities, are confident that scaling up to meet demand is only a matter of investment and that investment could be funded via a variety of routes.

With all the secrecy around NDAs and Collaborations it's probably only financial statements that will give us a true picture as to how the company is progressing.

MeganXmas at the AGM Neill stated that the closest competition at that time was Graphene Oxide, I think he specified Chinese; it may have been in regard to batteries (on his mind at the time) and as per one of Ellis’s posts GO platelets are slightly curved in solution (e.g. in an electrolyte) therefore resist condensing back into graphite. However Gnanomat’s innovation would seem to leapfrog that issue.

I asked Neill if he was concerned about security i.e.espionage from other users of the GEIC. He told me that VRS have a secure section in the building.

sandbag, hence lack of RNS-Reach and more focus to deliver The RNS. That is my understanding. How quickly they can? They seem confident and only some day 7AM RNS would confirm.

I didn't hear the not announce bit and they would be against market rules if its material.

So if true then they would simply announce but not have enough detail in it to help identify who.

Just surmise but maybe date of presentation had the 3t commissioning date plus a little slack when decided upon? How pleasing if bigger investors here are a lagging indicator!

"Same words were repeated by NR that "A project was put at risk and it took three months to get it back on track"."
For that reason he said that they would issue far fewer RNS's in future. I believe he said that Colabs would not now be announced.

Now you mention production time for a reminder about the Cambridge graphene centre visit that some of us did.

In there was a 'cage' at least about 10' x 10' with various kit wires and all sorts of various bits and pieces, then kit above it wires all over the place and tanks with a 2nd 2nd floor and a height overall of about 20 feet.

Impressive and mind boggling. We learned it was there carbon nanotube production facility. I was keen to know how such an apparently big looking voice of kit would perform in Kgs per day of carbon nano tubes.

Waiting to be impressed I was gobsmacked. 6 grams per day average with a 1 day record of 1 gram.

Now do you 100,000 square foot calcs for a factory. You could fit about 5000 of them in such a factory in operating circs and would then get to 3 kg per day. The cost for 3kgs on the kit would be ridiculous.

Moljen, reasoned post. Very good progress during 2019 looks achievable. Of course, some partner companys will move quicker than others. Aecom look keen innovators, and be ahead of the curve. Also, i wouldn't discount the effect of iso 2D standards publication upon the share price, if favourable as expected. Aimo. Best ellis

For the record I got caught up in an NDA email exchange with a small uk company relevant to what we are talking about and it was a very small company.

I also had exchanges with VRS over it to explain it was some time ago, way way back. A good friend of mine asked me about graphene as he knew my interest as they had just trailed it for someone.

The breach was my friend talking to me about it but the bigger breach was when the small company gave me far more details than I was aware of, so they breached it too.

Btw the first thing I did when realising was to notify VRS.

Pc they have the 3 tonne process.

It's just a case of being engineers and finding a way to make them all work together to reduce the costs and staff needed. Effectively a production line.

EG in some 'graphene producer reports' they have step one (albeit graphite which they call graphene) but don't yet have the ability to separate it, dry it and other factors for industrial supply.

It is easy with the right kit to produce a nice small sample to show a customer the you have great graphene, with a lot of effort and access to kit I could probably do it and get a fraction of a gram to someone. Although I'd need access to kit worth a lot of money to check the end product to see if I had got to under 10 layer average. However to do it in kilograms then I'd be completely stuffed as are 95% of the 'graphene producers' out there.

VRS do have all those components but are now on the move to make what sounded like in one end out the other start to finish process.

I am also talking about production levels well in excess of the current circs.

Pretty sure it was a project that was referenced, not an NDA that had been put at risk.

It was also stated in the AM session that it had been recovered, albeit not without effort on VRS part to get it back on track.

Agree Grabster much of NR's twitter feed creates a guessing game as to involvement and who they might be talking to.
