23/1/2019 09:07 | Morning Folks, I was reading the China 'REACH' document and wondered if Nanene was exempt under one of these exemption rules: Naturally occurring substances - pencil lead, graphite. Impurity < 10% w/w - If we make the graphene OUTSIDE of China and master batch it. Special categories such as glass cement.. Or under Polymer of low concern. - Polygrene made outside China. While in Manchester with all the scientists may be they know more. | laginaneil
23/1/2019 09:02 | much as I would love feedback from today can we try to keep it factual without the positive spin. I left the agm not expecting anything to get excited about share price wise for several months.then I got home and some posts made me think I had been at a different meeting | mj10
23/1/2019 09:00 | Sandbag told you there would be no RNS Prior to GEIC. How could neil deal with any extra questions or pod cast on this big day for investors?? | kemorkid
23/1/2019 08:53 | Looks like hyperloop relying upon aerospace tech. Potential for 2D materials down the line i imagine? Best ellis 'Hyperloop Transportation Technologies to launch location in France.' Jan 24, 2017, 5:08pm EST "On the heels of a deal that will explore building a hyperloop system connecting cities in Europe, Hyperloop Transportation Technologies has announced that it will open a new R&D facility there. The city of Toulouse in southwestern France, known as Aerospace Valley, is providing a 38,000-square-foot space with outdoor terrain to the startup to develop and test its hyperloop-related technologies. The move follows HTT’s agr "Our close relationship with the local government is exactly what is needed to implement hyperloop systems in Europe," said HTT COO Andres De Leon in a statement. "While developing our technology we will also work together to create the necessary regulatory framework for the system." The new HTT Toulouse Research and Development Facility will be located at the Francazal Airport, a former military base that is being converted into a larger Mobility innovation Park. Toulouse serves as “the heart of Europe's aerospace industry,” said HTT Chairman Bibop Gresta. The area hosts Airbus headquarters as well as the largest space center in Europe. "The talent pool in the region allows us to hire some of the brightest minds in aerospace,” added HTT CEO Dirk Ahlborn. HTT, along with fellow L.A. startup Hyperloop One, is working on bringing Elon Musk’s vision for a high-speed tube transportation system to reality. Hyperloop One appears to have a jump on its rival with more than $140 million in funding and the technology’s first public demo, but HTT has accumulated more than $100 million in investments, including $32 million in cash, through a unique crowd collaboration platform." | ellissj
23/1/2019 08:47 | Impvesta - thanks for that good to know. I was also on list, but didn't unfortunately get a ticket, but never mind, let's see what those going have to say. Best wishes - Mike | spike_1

23/1/2019 08:03 | "Question: did anyone manage to get a 'returned' ticket from Everbrite?" Yes, I did. I put myself on the reserve list for both sessions and was offered one for the afternoon session which I took up. A few days later I was also offered one for the morning session which, of course, I ignored. | impvesta
23/1/2019 08:00 | Good morning all ;0) Re: Disappointed with Eventbrite waiting list operation. Question: did anyone manage to get a 'returned' ticket from Everbrite? Yours - Mr grumpy | spike_1
23/1/2019 07:54 | I've been waiting for a return ticket on Eventbrite. If anyone has a spare ticket for 1pm event, please PM me. Thanks | red7al
23/1/2019 07:45 | If it was in London I would attend, I don’t travel well up north but hope anyone going has a great time and its about time the share price got through 130p, ie. let’s be having a substantive rns! | ny boy
23/1/2019 07:43 | Graphene flakes & boron nitride mentioned as advanced materials for future space applications. Best ellis 'Electronics -& ByJenna Flogeras Posted on January 9, 2019 "Satellites and spacecraft are mainly composed of light metallic alloys and composites that have a high specific strength (ratio of material strength to material density). This allows them to be shaped into light yet robust structures that can be safely launched to orbit and even delivered to distant planets, like Mars. As launching spacecraft becomes more affordable and satellites become more reliable, a profitable space economy is on the horizon. However, in order to maximize spacecraft longevity and thus the chance of a successful mission, several factors must be taken into consideration. In space, there are no fueling stations or repair shops, and for interplanetary probes, no on-board crew who can maintain and control the spacecraft, so not much can be done in the event of a failure. Therefore, engineering spacecraft capable of self-controlled, self-adapting, and self-healing behavior to cope with the predictable and unpredictable challenges encountered in space is crucial. These three key features—self- In their essay in Advanced Materials, Igor Levchenko from Nanyang Technological University, Kateryna Bazaka from Queensland University of Technology, and their colleagues discuss the materials-d The authors show how the existing platforms can be translated and integrated into space technology to provide novel capabilities for future spacecraft. For satellites, this means composite, nanomaterial, and metamaterial-based ultrathin solar cells and supercapacitors for all power units; ultralight, flexible, and printable electronic components; propellant tanks made of thin metal layers and carbon-nanotube-base A number of adjustments could also be made to optimize the performance of thruster systems, including nanodiamond coatings and boron nitride to reduce ion-flux-related wear and enhance discharge efficiency; cold cathodes composed of dense, ultrathin nanotubes, nanowires, and vertically oriented graphene flakes; and a magnetic system based on graphene. The authors recognize that implementing these features is no trivial task. The authors state, “Such dramatic space tech advances are what will create the potential for larger and more complicated efforts in near-Earth and deep space exploration, as well as help us transition to an innovative, digital global economy.” | ellissj
23/1/2019 07:42 | Look forward to meeting fellow attendees at the 1pm session! | impvesta
23/1/2019 07:31 | Rather surprised that no RNS this morning, given the Twitter hint that an update on the collabs would be part of the GEIC show. Can only assume that very little new will be disclosed. Also surprised that I'm the only one so far to mention it here! So only a very few of us not attending? Disappointed with Eventbrite waiting list operation. It didn't for me. The tickets available in the last couple of days were too late to make arrangements. Have a good time to all those there. | hew
23/1/2019 07:20 | Tnx for all messages | moljen

22/1/2019 22:55 | Good for you Mo! Have a really good day - both of you! | spike_1
22/1/2019 21:42 | Thanks for all the messages - taking Mum instead so as it isn't wasted .... ex physics teacher and ultimate cynic. They may wish EB or LL were attending instead if she starts asking questions | moljen
22/1/2019 21:37 | Moljen, thx for offer of ticket, now busy tomorrow having ineptly struggled to obtain a ticket previously, compounded by Eventbrite’s misleading advice. Any feedback gratefully received including if possible how to make sense of figures for surface area and density on Nanene’s datasheet. Have a great day lucky people!! | hoverflyman
