I'm going to take a break from this BB - I've had enough of arguing with delusional sycophants (of NR and Graham W).

See you all at the end of March...

"Wasn't it 'we need a deal in China'"

there's been no deal in China. If there had been they'd be able to tell us how much product they'd be selling, of what, and how much it was worth. Instead we have 4 MoUs which - so far as we are aware - have absolutely no impact on the bottom line to date. If the MoUs were worth (significant) money they'd have to tell us as it would be price-sensitive.

If a non-shareholder heard Ricketts shouting his mouth off about 'deals' in China would they not think they were commercial arrangements with revenues accruing to VRS? Of course they would - but so far that is simply not the case.

so what do you all think is going to happen? do you think there will be a massive reveal one day when contracts with Unilever AND DDP AND IAI AND Nike AND Axia AND Continental AND China etc etc etc etc will all be announced on the same day?

No, of course not. it will be a gradual build, contract by contract. So where's the first one? Long overdue, you ask me. IAI now well over a year old, and nothing; McLaren's order of 1Kg much more than 2 years ago, and still nothing. Again, if there were contracts for nanene or other products and it was worth significant money the company would have to announce them. There have been no announcements, ergo no contracts.

The products we are bringing to market are revolutionary ... the management, IMO, far excels any I have ever seen in the 10 years that I've been investing ...the huge list of collaborations cannot possibly NOT bear fruit...the long term chart (even to a non chartist like me)is a thing of beauty...the company has huge support from genuine long term investors...the balls are lining up and those who have been here a while know that..I'm a happy grasshopper and I don't think I'll have to be patient for too long... :-)

UK markets are moribund whilst Brexit is in endgame - nothing anyone can do about that so most company SPs will be going sideways until there is more macro clarity.

VRS can only do so much to conclude deals as the pace is dictated by the client. Patience grasshoppers!

Fair comment bootie, each to their own. I personally like the seemingly new less interaction.

Getting to the time of year where a big RNS starts to become more likely by the day. My tea leaves suggest end next week or the following week. Traders will be trashing this every opp until they get back in or miss it. Hold tight for best results IMO. Sad to see some of the nonsense posted but many have more greed than shame.

Pshevlin, O/T with apologies, but something to take our minds off the new sewage recently arrived on the BB.

Took delivery of the Overlander PHEV on Tuesday. The local dealer Jenkins Group fitted my winter tyres to a very lovely spare set of alloys they had, and are storing my summer tyres on their original rims. Was astonished to learn that the new alloys were a prezzie, along with a ski rack I had asked them to source. What a great bunch of guys; great service rarely found today. Did a test run to Pembrokeshire and back today to test all the EV modes. Very impressive and comfortable drive. Got 13 miles of pure EV on the M4 at 70mph, then recharged it completely by the time I got there. The 2.0l ICE is a bit thirsty when both driving and re-charging a big heavy SUV (35mpg), but when I came off EV the MPG was briefly registering 494mpg! It all depends on how and where you drive it. Just using EV in town, you could avoid buying petrol altogether.

Now looking forward to driving it to Meribel in the French Alps next Thursday.

Enough of this O/T. Just think what Gnanomat’s solid state batteries could do to these figures. Bring it on! Have a great time at the GEIC next week..

Great tweets from NR in response to Zulu 1's message:

It is strange , certain shareholders need an increase in share price to exit quick so they have a go at the bloke who could increase the share price and demotivate a guy who doesn't need the job which could reduce the share price? Am I missing something in my extensive training?"

A new 2 year innovate programme here re plastics usage. A hot topic. Hopefully opportunities for vrs 2D materials. Ie reduce volume used in plastic bottles per consumer packaging collab rns. Best ellis

'UK Circular Plastics Network.'

"UKCPN runs events and activities to bring together the diverse users of plastic products and realise the best outcomes for eliminating plastic waste."

"The UK Circular Plastics Network (UKCPN) aims to bring together the diverse users of plastic products and realise the best outcomes for eliminating plastic wastethrough a programme of networking and knowledge-sharing events and related support activities.

The Circular Plastics Network will create a coordinated, integrated and aligned community of stakeholders in order to share best practice, focused on unlocking the most critical, short term barriers to plastics circularity.

UKCPN will facilitate the following:

Eliminating the volume of plastic waste arising from within the UK.Raising awareness and sharing best practice to improve the rate of UK plastic recycling. Sharing best practice to reduce levels of confusion amongst citizens and highlighting user-centred design. Showcasing innovation that is focused on reducing the amount of plastic ending up in the environment.

UKCPN is an activity supported by UK Research and Innovation, and forms part of the Plastics Research Innovation Fund (PRIF), which is engaging Britain’s best scientists and innovators to help move the country towards more circular economic and sustainable approaches to plastics.

The launch of UKCPN will bring to light the current situation regarding plastics and work to improve the country’s relationship with plastic and towards reducing plastic waste. This two-year programme brings together those with solutions to the problem and facilitates circular supply chain engagement with those solutions. More than 12 events will be undertaken throughout the UK over the next two years, while there will also be a website for the community to interact with one another (launching in early 2019). As well as this, a directory of companies relevant to this sector will be produced and encompassed in a larger landscape map accessible to all of the UK Circular Plastic members."

Tell you what Ian. I'm not going to wait until I've made a load of cash on here before I'm sunning myself on a beach. I intend to be there on March 29 if the silly bleeders over here go through with the National Suicide Pact. If I wait for VRS I might be counted among the dead.
