Gnanomat Spanish Patent 2678419, filed 25/4/2018 and granted 22/11 claims methods for the manufacture of graphene metal oxide composites starting from graphene and a metal oxide (ZnO, Mn3O4, Fe3O4, CeO2, MnO2, FeO, Fe2O3, WO3, SnO2, RuO2
y/o Co3O4).
The graphene employed was nanoplatelets de grafeno (GrapheneTech número de
producto GP500 801282-5)or graphene oxide (Graphenea Graphene Oxide GO).

Consequently, the patent relates to a method for modifying an existing graphene-type material by adding a metal oxide.

The patent has been granted in Spain. However, a Spanish patent does not afford any protection ouside Spain, although I believe Gnanomat has until 24/4/2019 to request a more thorough PCT/EPO/USPTO examination to extend the patent cover worldwide.

Does anyone know the relevance of graphene-metal oxide composites?

All grist to the mill for VRS for what sounds like a new application of graphene. and potential sales. Bravo
