19/12/2018 15:12 | Bet you're glad you didn't sell now fest. | chimpandy1
19/12/2018 15:08 | Fest. We are not talking to him. We are talking about him! This is important to inform Newbies. You seem very preoccupied with the share price and you should therefore welcome the truth being told. | ridicule
19/12/2018 15:07 | .... and in OTHER news, I'm now being offered almost 116p for 35k shares, which is great compared to the 110p on offer earlier today. | festario
19/12/2018 15:06 | Nasa looking at uk plc too ! Best ellis 'NASA and UK’s MTC hint at future collaboration for AM' Tess Boissonneault 4 weeks ago "NASA recently expressed interest in working with the UK’s Manu So far, NASA has sent scientists from five of its centers (including the Kennedy Space Center) to visit the MTC in Coventry. Drawn by the MTC’s AM equipment and expertise, the space agency is interested in exploring and leveraging MTC’s technology for the additive manufacturing of complex, high-stress components for aerospace applications....." | ellissj
19/12/2018 15:05 | In other news, I've just been the 99th person to tick up Scrutable's post. Not because of its content, but because of its excellent vocabulary which is so sadly lacking these days.Has anyone else ever seen such a high number of votes for any post ever? I certainly have not. | festario
19/12/2018 15:03 | Why am I seeing numerous posts where people are talking to and about Kempster ? I shouldn't see any of that.. I was warned of a ban, so why are others still here? | festario
19/12/2018 15:00 | Impressive sector in the UK. Next gen 2D materials would help UK plc improve upon it's offering i imagine. Best ellis "The UK space sector is growing, worth £13.7 billion to the economy and employing more than 38,000 people across the country. The UK is a world-leader in small satellite technology, telecommunications, robotics and earth observation, while British universities are some of the best in the world for space science. As technology evolves and reduces the cost of access to space, there is an exciting opportunity for the UK to thrive in the commercial space age." | ellissj

19/12/2018 14:41 | Nice poddy performance from neill. Assured and knows where the company is heading. Giving perspective upon the progress made this last year. Sounds like another massive opportunity in china. Re helping them in their space strategy. Will be a serious headturner and puts vrs profile up a gear. Again neill explains that this year is about foundations and going through a process. And what impressive foundations they are too. Re geic, he said opening of last week has given vrs a chance to refill the hopper and talk to some big companies. And about other materials too. Thanks for your hard graft and astute positioning neill and co. Amazed at the progress made in a such a short time since investing here 2 1/2 years ago. 2019 is shaping up to be a very good year. Aimo. Glalth. Best ellis. | ellissj
19/12/2018 14:31 | Loggie post 54009 Aecom most likely trying many other Graphene companies!! He just keeps giving when it comes to incredulity!, He forgot the VRS/AECOM Collab announcement, followed by two statements of work. How many SoWs does he think AECOM are issuing to the Graphene industry - 50, 100? Perhaps he should run a sweepstake? His lack of credibility makes all his enormous efforts to rubbish VRS futile, yet still he tries many hours a week. What a waste of time. | ridicule
19/12/2018 14:15 | If it is CAMEC, the group includes the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation which "researches, designs, and manufactures space systems. The company offers its products through 4 segments; aerospace systems, missile weaponry systems, aerospace technology applications, and aerospace services. The company provides aerospace technology applications, such as biological healthcare products, coenzymes, mine explosion-proof command vehicles, special vehicles, stitching fabrics, and carbon fiber and relevant products, as well as pressure burners of coal slurry gasification and HT-L coal gasification technologies. 19/12/2018 14:13 | Elon Musk unveils landmark tunnel in Los Angeles in bid to eliminate city traffic Building the tunnels is both cheaper and 15 times quicker than other tunneling technologies available on the market, Mr Musk claimed. The Boring Company says it is the first to be able to burrow while simultaneously reinforcing the walls of the tunnel. The machines that bore the tunnels are powered by Tesla batteries and motors, and the company also plans to recycle dirt from the tunnels and turn it into bricks. Mr Musk says that he has provided much of the funding for the company, which he calculates to be around $40m, with only $10m on building the test tunnel itself. Musk owns around 90pc of The Boring Company. | nemo19

19/12/2018 13:51 | loginaneil The world is so short of 'thank you's. that there can never be enough sincere ones. To all those who have brought me light today, I reply with a sincere one of my own. Your collective appreciation as fellow posters is indeed reward. To those who wanted more disclosure, there is little to add to the quintessence I have tried already to present. Only one thing. It was not Neill's assurance which gave me the confidence in his IP protection. Verbal assurances are given many times a day about many things, particularly promises, goods, and services. An experienced person sees that assurances accepted are so often the gateway to deception. The protection lies in NR's strategy which it would be counter productive to disclose. You can deduce its effectiveness from the Chinese conclusion that the quality of VRS' product outstrips the world and that they would sign up MOUs with 'us'implying that they do not think it can be copied or achieved , by anyone else. Do they not have multiple PHD's at Manchester Uni studying graphene, almost certainly in order to return with crucial IP in their heads? So why now commit to paying for it?. | scrutable
19/12/2018 13:50 | Given that Neill mentions on the podcast the company has approx. 150,000 employees, I believe the collaboration partner is the China Aerospace Machinery and Electronics Corporation (CAMEC) | schmally
19/12/2018 13:44 | Great post Scrutable as just read it and wish u well for the coming festivities and New Year!! I am sure you impressed NR some as well!!! | joeblogg2
19/12/2018 13:05 | Hello Scrutable, So many people have said thank you that I feel a bit 'small' adding my bit. You are so lucky to have met Neill. Thank you for the write up and if you remember any bits post them. All the best for Christmas and a 'Nanene' new year! All the best to the posters here, Versarien staff, engineers, scientists and government Elves sorry - helpers !! | laginaneil
19/12/2018 12:59 | Snippet This MOU is for Heat management and light weighted structures in Multiple applications, not only aerospace but SPACE, multiple projects within those fields and multiple products for VRS very nice... | bootie64
19/12/2018 12:57 | With previous Versarien collaboratons involving unnamed partners, it has been possible to narrow down (and in some cases identify) who the partner might be by googling the anonymised description used in the announcement. If I do so with "a large state-owned Chinese aerospace company" (admittedly a rather wide generic term) I come up with results that mostly feature reports of today's announcement, but which also include that same wording used in this article from three years ago. Does it shed any light? | grabster

19/12/2018 12:50 | Superg, I don't know how much nanene/polygrene AECOM will need, for now what has been confirmed is still way off the ton quantity. Ultimately the amount of polygrene needed will depend on the success of the Arch. Whatever the amount they need, it should ultimately be small relative to what's going on China. Unless you're implying that AECOM will be bigger than the 20+ MOUs in China? I’m trying to understand your view too | mryl |
