19/12/2018 08:09 | Even given the current febrile climate I'm staggered we're still at sub-120p. The news flow in December alone has been multiples of what most AIM companies dream of in a year... | club sandwich
19/12/2018 08:07 | Fuji - but VRS isn't a one-trick pony, and as soon as the Chinese even try to steal any IP the supply of shiny new toys from the labs dries up... | club sandwich
19/12/2018 08:06 | The Man from Delmonte, he say Yes:))) | ch1rp
19/12/2018 08:05 | That's normally true ..... but got to a way round that else we wouldn't be doing this with Gov support ????! | squire007
19/12/2018 08:05 | Back onto 2019. VRS has yet to hit a sustained period of no supply but we are almost there. BR, Unicorn, City finance, Allianz, LO, Miton and Herald have all been sellers, in all around 60-70 mill shares. Some made excellent profits backing VRS. Herald and Miton have made the most by hanging in there but 5-10+ their investment was too tempting. From 60-70 mill to under 3 mill. Roll on 2019, Q1 and all the funds will be gone at this rate. Bound to have been some selling by them this month. | superg1
19/12/2018 08:04 | Batt-is that an Elon hint? | p@
19/12/2018 08:04 | Thanks for that, Fuji. Just your musing, or any hard news/articles on that idea, which many of us suspect? | axotyl
19/12/2018 08:01 | Squire007 - The only problem with China is they have "discovered" a way to get any technology they need just by using JV's. They build a factory, the transfer of technology from A to B takes place, production starts, their technical staff get all the training, then infiltrate each level of know how; once they fully document and understand the processes, key people start "leaving" to join "other companies" within 2 years. Then, a couple of months later, a similar factory with a different name suddenly emerges from the ground like a mushroom 100 miles away. Within 5 years the original JV collapses and the original technology, becomes fully Chinese. | fuji99
19/12/2018 07:55 | LOL Neill just put up an interesting picture on his Twitter feed.... "Space..... the final frontier" | battery
19/12/2018 07:51 | The Chinese are wanting a foothold in Europe.Vrs should be a major part to the building blocks. | ic0gcds00
19/12/2018 07:49 | Quite an amazing tie up which is in a sensitive area in China. No wonder HMG is involved. I have no doubt we are heading for the stars. The challenge now is to protect the IP. | richie32
19/12/2018 07:48 | Interesting chill, next stage investors starting to show up ! Best ellis. | ellissj
19/12/2018 07:47 | Excellent news today and I would not be surprised if it may jolt Lockheed, British Aerospace and others into action. What do you say to that Mr Branson, but then again, he only seems interested when he can milk the state. Looks as though we will need far more than one manufacturing site in China. | rogerbridge
19/12/2018 07:46 | Jointer - NR keeps saying Rome wasn't built in a day - and it wasn't, but the foundations went down reasonably quickly. This year has been about building the foundations, next year, and many years after, should be about the money. Bring it on, I say: can't happen soon enough... | club sandwich
19/12/2018 07:44 | It's been a fantastic year of progress by the ever expanding VRS team so let's hope they all have a great Xmas. This year was always about putting the foundations in place for full commercialisation in 2019 and beyond. 2019 is set up for major production and revenue growth with a couple of the collaborations possibly only days and weeks away from full scale adoption. Once that happens you will see the institutions increasing positions. In fact that may have already started as two interesting offshore funds have already shown up on the register. One European and one from the Orient. | chillpill
19/12/2018 07:44 | Shares up a bit on the non news then the usual decline I suppose. | loglorry1
19/12/2018 07:43 | Uk/china deepening space partnership. Good background read here. Also New tech discussed. Hexotene mentioned in rns - thermal management ? Imo. Best ellis. "....This conference, almost uniquely, takes in a much wider range of topics, from technical talks on emerging technologies, to practical advice on export controls for both UK and Chinese companies. Professor Chris Mutlow, Director of STFC RAL Space said: “We have been working with partners in China for decades and have built very strong collaborative relationships. As part of UK Research and Innovation, the body set up to support researchers and businesses, RAL Space is a neutral broker, positioned between industry and academia. This puts us in the perfect position to support the ambitions of both in China.” Examples of this brokerage role are the projects supported by UK Research and Innovation’s £27 million Newton Fund to use technology from the space sector to help agricultural practices in China. This has seen UK and Chinese organisations working together to use the latest space applications, from modified Mars rovers to soil moisture monitoring from space, to solve some of the challenges facing a country which has only 7% of the world’s arable land and water resources but has to feed 22% of the world’s population...." | ellissj

19/12/2018 07:34 | More good news - but I doubt it will move the so by much. Only a large order with some numbers attached - even if only indicative - will do that... | club sandwich |
