19/12/2018 10:56 | Others have access to screens we can’t see hence my comment about some fund drop in a chunk on news hoping for volume to shift it. It would be no surprise to me to learn that someone like Miton dropped in 250k or more to sell today, it’s a typical game. I went on about Miton due to hit trouble on the trust fund and now we see they have moved the redemption date to June. That’s called buying time to sell some small caps in the fund to get the cash together | superg1
19/12/2018 10:54 | AECOM probably test 100+ new materials a year. They'll likely be looking at all sorts of other graphene providers. They are just testing. Like almost all the other material collaborations they've not progressed any further as far as I can see. I do think the next product should be Collaborene though. They'd have 20+ customers for that already. | loglorry1
19/12/2018 10:53 | Prefer concrete news lol | squire007
19/12/2018 10:52 | I don’t spend the £350 lucky, I have various contacts. EG some funds will have a block they keep an eye on and get the monthy updates. If you know the right folk they will let ypu know. The £350 plus vat is for anyone that wants to check. I asked re availability to PIs. The way I see it, if a share is getting hit by fund selling a bounce will come when theu are out. Below 3% there are no notifications. So the £350 would be a worthwhile spend imo to try to get an advantage re when the supply dries up. Just part of the long term PI group investor process availability of info. I and a few others plan to just chat privately as time goes on. It’s the best way. | superg1
19/12/2018 10:51 | Rules is rules afterall? | festario
19/12/2018 10:50 | But if this AECOM story was true and relevant to VRS surely this disclosure here would force an RNS?? | festario
19/12/2018 10:47 | It is frustrating in a way, and I can understand yours Festario. That's the way it works if you hold a lot (believe me, I know). On the other hand rethink your investment decisions from time to time, and decide if anything has changed.. the usual, you know all that though. I do too, but I sometimes rethink it all and that gives some comfort, or more importantly, if it doesn't then perhaps it is time to look elsewhere. Rome wasn't built in a day, that's true. The excitement of the share price early last year, for example, was reaction to the first China news. Then a lull, then a rise, etc etc. What VRS is building is time consuming, to say the very least. Then build in the turmoil in shares this year (don't underestimate what this year has done for knocking investing confidence, it's huge imo), and hey presto, you end up with the chart we now have. 2018 was a shocker for investing generally, hopefully 2019 may be better. As for VRS, we all know what the next stage is, we just don't know the exact timing. If we did, we'd all be rich, but that's not how life works usually. Be patient. As it's nearly Xmas, tks to all the regular contributors on here for keeping us so informed this year, and tks especially to Neill (if you're looking in) & his team). I look forward to continuing to have my VRS shares well locked up for a long time. | scottishfield
19/12/2018 10:46 | Graphite lol So you can confirm then that the logo was axtrain going under an arch. It was all visible until questions were asked re posts. I sent that link and another about the project. The project was posted here before I realised what it was. That has now gone and the didicated website goes to a blank page. Content disappeared shortly after reporting it. | superg1

19/12/2018 10:01 | Re James Briggs pshevlin, I did have a quick think about that one and it is probably the price and a different market. It will take a while for the auto trade to embrace it though as there are so many different options on the market and they will need to spend a fair bit to get it 'out there'. | luckyorange
19/12/2018 10:00 | If the chinese want 2D space solutions....? Hopeful here. Best ellis. Notes to Editors: The build of an electric propulsion system for another new Eutelsat satellite known as KONNECT was recently completed by Thales Alenia Space in Belfast, demonstrating the growing presence of space across the UK. The UK Space Agency is helping industry to develop new technologies, infrastructure and services as part of the government’s modern Industrial Strategy. Major initiatives for the UK Space sector include the £99m National Satellite Test Facility at Harwell, the £92m to develop options for a UK alternative to the Galileo satellite navigation project, the £31.5m to support the development of the proposed spaceport in Sutherland in Scotland, and the UK’s continuing commitment to being a leading player in the European Space Agency. Eutelsat QUANTUM the first software defined satellite, able to adapt to new demands in coverage, bandwidth, power and frequency configurability simply by being reprogrammed from the ground. Its phased array antennas will be able to shape the broadcast footprint as required – unlike a fixed standard reflector on most telecommunication satellites. It will also be partially built by Airbus in Portsmouth and Stevenage. The UK Space Agency is part of the Eutelsat QUANTUM Public Private Partnership through the ESA participation. | ellissj |
