Last one ..... for now 😉

AECOM is the lead design consultant for the major Bank underground station capacity upgrade project, one of London’s most complex infrastructure schemes.

AECOM is delivering a wide range of multidisciplinary services, including project management; design management and assurance; civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical engineering; tunnelling; pedestrian flow modelling; and planning and environmental services. AECOM’s designs will include a new Northern line southbound-running tunnel that will create more platform space, interchange tunnels and an additional station entrance. Tunnelling will take place under iconic landmarks such as the Bank of England and Mansion House. The station will remain operational throughout the construction.

Set in the heart of London’s financial district, Bank station is one of the largest and most complex underground railway stations in the world. Nearly 100,000 passengers use this major interchange hub every morning rush hour and this figure is set to rise. The upgrade project will deliver a much-needed capacity increase by 2021.

Another link in the chain , Spike in particular will see what is happening here when he picked up on the aspect / need for the arches.

"Since opening in 1863, the London Underground has expanded to become one of the most iconic metros in the world. And yet, in an age when passengers want to spend most of their waking hours glued to their smartphones, internet connectivity has remained relatively weak.

Other metros have been much more successful at helping their patrons to browse underground. Mobile connectivity has been implemented in a number of major metros worldwide, including Berlin, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York and Toronto, with the first two of these cities installing purpose-built systems back in the 1990s.

Transport for London (TfL) is finally aiming to bring the London Underground up to speed by promising to provide 4G mobile coverage on the tube by 2019. According to a TfL spokesperson, the company has now formally started the procurement process for this project.

A Standard Selection Questionnaire has now been issued to potential bidders, with an invitation to tender currently pending. The hope is that a service partner will be brought on board by early 2019, and that the first stations will be connected during the same year.

The pledge to provide mobile connectivity has formed a big part of current London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s promise to create a more connected London. But how are commuters and the network set to benefit?"

I am sure it is something that ukgov will want to be involved in come the announcement and rightly so considering their investment in graphene.

A lot more information in that link, telling the whys, wherefores and timescale.

Back to the naughty step 😡🎅

'In theory 2019 is going to be a great year for VRS and no fund holders of note to spoil the party supplying MMs.' you said above.

Imagine also if they then decide they want to buy! Might be a good old bun fight.

So Superg. Who is our cornerstone investor? Neil at the AGM mentioned some Middle East money if I remember correctly. It was the first time mentioned and never heard since.

The new Government crack down on packaging could hurry things along. Packaging companies will not like the additional cost for recycling.

The heat will be on to show green credentials, so hopefully Nanene sales just became closer.

Luxus could do very nicely out of it, so plenty of raw material for VRS.

All ticking along nicely, shame about the general market. Good to see the first Nanene product on the market, slowly moving up the chain. NR Twitter Tomorrow's #NGRadvent I dedicate to our long term holders #happychristmas

Lovat

Yes a typical problem but the typical suspects for that are thin on the ground here. Ilve got to know who's who in that regard over the years.

While on the topic the typical short position on a certain SB site ranges from 5k to 20k shares.

So those combined don't even add up to half the holdings of some PIs here yet they seem to shout a lot.

So so brave that at £50 per point.

Excellent post roger.

I really don't understand what anyone is seeing here that isn't just making them wish they had more to invest? It really feels like we are on the brink of a big move north. Every piece of news that has come out of the company has not only met expectations (which is rare), but on many occasions completely surprised us.

What is not to like about this story? I, like you, am just so excited about 2019, I fail to find a reason not to be.

I agree superg, when they are gone, they are gone. Amazing progress again this year, and vrs very well positioned heading into 2019. Neill tweeted recently there are no skeletons in the vrs cupboard. But people see what want to see, each to their own. I see a great british success story :) Aimo. Glalth. Best ellis
