That’s a good point Ellis if you havnt your own business you should have! the things you do on a downturn are what makes you surge ahead of the rest when the market turns, planning is everything to capitalise fully when the time is right

Am I correct in saying it doesn't matter what news Vrs come out with, the bull market is over and it won't go up until the the next bull run starts?

it's the markets? Tad uncertain atm. Think usa/china trade dispute. Think uk/brexit. Therefore unusual trading/investment landscape = uncertainty. When resolved, i imagine certainty will bring handsome rewards. Especially to those who have positioned well in world markets and have a market leading proposition. The Moral; you can't force the conditions, they are what they are. But you can position well and be able to progress as the conditions change more favourably. To my mind vrs tick all the boxes. Aimho. Dyor. Best ellis.

"Clubbie, erm, for people to buy lots of shares"

yes, but why aren't people buying? Since 7th Nov we've had 2 MoUs and an order, and the share price is still around 2/3 of what it was before we had any of that?

I think it's clear that some background selling/ shorting is surprising the price here! It will end and we will rise sharply on that occasion imho!

Yes Haz101, the detractors seem a bit nervous; working 12 or 13 hour days at weekends says it all really. It's more than just an investment gone wrong, it's their entire reputation that's at stake. If almost 100% of your tweets and ADVFN posts are bashing 1 company, and that company goes on to be a massive success, you have absolutely nowhere to hide.

I'm astonished at the share price reaction to this morning's news. what the hell is it going to take to get this moving strongly back up?

NR doing a magnificent job on Twitter, clarifying the points one by one as detractors try to pour cold water. Days like this I am so glad he is on there.

Sometimes you just get to see the same people spouting the same rubbish, blocking others that demonstrate their intentions.

I hold VRS and not for the now but the future. I comment as I have a vying interest and I am on other forums but am happy to use the same end signature (i know nooothing) . I don't hide behind multiple profiles like some.

What is clear though is why someone would spend a significant amount of time and effort to write stuff that cannot always be substantiated regarding a stock they openly admit to having no interest in. The intention is either
Financial
Political
Fun
Ideology
Grudge

Now you can take any of the above it doesn't matter but can you really look at someone and believe what they say when they cant tell you what their end goal is or motivation.

I am here to make money and I believe VRS will help me do that and not by shorting either I am in for the long term

I know nooothing

Am enjoying the news flow this past couple of weeks, good solid progress being made across the board only a matter of time till a major order is announced to propel the sp, the writing is on the wall for the detractors and they know it

That IS a good article CA. Even happier now :)
''we have to tell these companies that the “memorandum of understanding” they just signed with the Chinese company likely constitutes a binding contract under Chinese law and is almost certainly viewed that way by their Chinese counterparts.''

Several people have talked about institutional investors - it is inevitable they will arrive at some point but does anyone have an estimate of the volume they will introduce and the likely price increase of the sp?

The market likes certainty and, of course, an MOU does not provide much of that, hence the muted reaction. I am very happy to see the World Leading aspect highlighted and confirmed by the Chairman. I expect a little bubbling up over the next few days as this news sinks in but the really big money will come when we do not expect it. As before, larger investors will not take the RNS as gospel and will do background research and checks, leading to a rise when there appears to be no news. I intend to be fully loaded for that rise. More confident by the day/RNS here.

Good article ChimpAndy1. To get to the MOU stage in China requires an incredible amount of work, dedication and trust from both parties. We are now light years ahead of the competition for what is likely to be the biggest graphene market in the world.

An interesting article on How the Chinese view an MOU and the importance of it https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/danharris/2016/08/30/understanding-a-chinese-memorandum-of-understanding/amp/
