Morning Chillpill,

You said '..there is no commercial deal yet'..

I thought the aircraft interior, FAA fire approved deal last week was commercial sale
and 'ongoing' word was the best bit!

Excuse me if i miss read your post.

o/t

Had to do a Heimlich maneuver on a dog this morning, amazing technique, dog in its death throes , got covered in pee but all fine now except for the owner who is traumatised by the whole thing. Another sunny day 🌞

In yesterday's interview with total market solutions by James Naylor, towards the end, Neill said there is consolidation going on in the market. When asked whether VRS could be a take over target, Neill laughed and replied "we have had offers and approaches". If this has been said on this BB before, sorry. The interview can be found at: hxxps://total-market-solutions.com/2018/11/16/versarien-plc-igtv/

Interesting that they have been approached regarding a takeover in the past. That of course must have been 'friendly' and as time goes on it will garner more interest and that is why I am happy with NR assuming the role of Chair.

"I would want more than 1000p for my shares"

so do I - I'm just saying that unless VRS starts delivering significant orders and revenues soon, that's what may happen.

If they do, then you can add a zero to that number in a few years, IMO...

Morning Chillpill. Just read your post re Loglorry whom I have filtered some time ago.
Your analysis is spot on. Great companies take time to build. So easy to ramp on thin air as some other companies have done and then gone down the hole.
Problem with Loglorry is that he is bitter and twisted and sadly a bit thick.

@chillpill VRS have had the ability to make £1Kg a day for the last year at least. Collaborations span back 3 years in total. Neill has said they don't give it away and they are fulfilling orders all the time.

It's widely accepted here that it sells at $45,000 kg.

If there's no Graphene sales when 2-DTech put their results out at companies house why not?

------

The fact is you are waiting for the March 2018 accounts to be filed at Companies House which will happen in the next 6 weeks or so.
You will also know the new "scaling up" equipment arrived in the last couple of weeks of March so there was zero chance of any revenues from there.

Most the collaborations started at in the final quarter so no real chance of sales been completed before the year end even with the low capacity machines.

Timothy,

If you are going to continue to masquerade as a Management Consultant you will have to raise your game!

You will have to wait another year for the next accounts.

It's pretty sad the way you are berating a CEO who at this point in time seems to be doing an excellent job in transitioning from concept to commercial reality in a relatively short space of time.

Yes there is no commercial deal yet but so far so good. The company has changed dramatically since I first invested just over a year ago-way exceeded my expectations.

Sit back, relax and see where they are in a year's time as the trend is looking very promising.

Neill has said they've been supplying small orders all the time. You guys seem to think Nanene and HP Graphene selling around $45,000/kg.

Should we then expect to see say 10kg worth eg $450k of Graphene sales in the 2-DTech accounts when they are released shortly at companies house?

That's surely not unreasonable?

I think you will get it, all in good time. At some point in the future the scumbags will become holders pumping it, but well after many PIs here get some. They can have some of yours for a tenner.

Bachman overdrive lyrics doesn't sum it up entirely but it's a start when combined with the name.

And I be taking care of business (every day)
Taking care of business (every way)
I've been taking care of business (it's all mine)
Taking care of business and working overtime, take care
Takin' care of business, whoo
Takin' care of business

C.S. I would want more than 1000p for my shares.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I hope to hold as Neill builds a gigantic company/s and supplier of Nanene and other 2D materials worldwide.

I also hope that daughter and grandchildren will continue after I am no longer here.

That is my wish, we will have to see.

I've added this point to my earlier post on McLaren lightweighting plans and longstanding connections:

McLaren's Mike Flewitt and Versarien boss Neill Ricketts both studied at Salford in the 1990s, and have returned there as guest speakers at times.

Re NR's comments about takeover approaches. You see now why I've been banging on about why it's important to GET BIG, FAST! And that means orders, revenues, profits - not just endlessly talking to people.

For s'holders it's a win-win - the only question is how big the win. IMO if we're still here in 6 months - no significant (ie multi-100Kg/multi-T) orders - someone will go hostile to take over VRS (500p-1000p a share?). If those orders *have* arrived the share price should be higher than that already and we can look forward to it going *much* higher still in the years to come.

McLaren already talking of a possible SECOND facility in Yorkshire:

...McLaren was attracted to Rotherham by Sheffield University’s Advanced Manufacturing Research centre at Waverley where boffins helped the firm develop the processes which are being used in the newly-opened ‘Composites Technology Centre’...

... But that was just a start, now the AMRC has plans for a £31m Lightweighting Centre which would accelerate what McLaren boss Mike Flewitt calls the ‘race for weight’...

... McLaren will continue to work with the AMRC to create more complex, lighter chassis. Reductions are small, but if achieved across every component, they could shave 5kg off a car’s overall weight.

Mr Flewitt added: “We’d be delighted if we took that out.” ...

We all know that Versarien has connections with McLaren going back years. And we know that Nanene and other 2D materials can help achieve lightness in composites. Sounds promising? We also know that Mike Flewitt and Neill Ricketts both studied at Salford in the 1990s, and have returned there as speakers at times.

EDIT: Some more on Project ALPA referred to in that story:
