Great work guys re the funding for Steph now £1200 after 2 generous £250 donations to take it through the £1000 target.

The plan is to get her enough cash to cover lost work hours (at Budgens sadly) while she trains.

Donations mean you are into a raffle for the rugby tickets and dinner with NR and co at Gloucester rugby club (AGM venue).

Also 5 tickets up for grabs on the blind bid auction by emailing Nigel Laughton with your bid.

A small but significant step today. Could mean significant graphene revenues starting to flow as we enter 2020. Great they already have FAA approvals as they don't happen overnight.

In the meantime the odd 50k order here and there helps the corporate overheads.

Still at the start of the "s" curve!

Was reflecting a little about why I have so much interest in the bb

Well, there are a lot of people on here from various backgrounds who are prepared to share their knowledge when a point is raised and speak from their own experiences, years and years of experience on here from people who are not wet behind the ears.

Sort of thinking of opting out at some point, but , it's all so interesting , you never know what is going to come next and at the moment the possibilities seem endless for 2D materials .

Could be here for a few years yet, keep posting the good stuff everyone, we have plenty who look at the downside but that tends to fall off a cliff as the months pass.

We are at the very bottom of the S curve and depends what comes out before results how that will be playing out, but as each day passes I get more and more confident of the outcome.

I see your expectations re more things to come as after Xmas.

I’ve been saying some bits and expect ‘things’ much quicker than that. Google is a useful tool (said that a few times now) and some may recall advice re finding stuff on the web.

EG a few years back I found the test results for a small bio type company to do with food additives. The group working with them were huge. They never did announce anything but I knew it was a fail, I found the trials document. I used other points/untrue statements to warn off investors.

At one point I also had access to Chiles export data for everything. It listed exactly what some public miners were exporting and the exact price per tonne be it copper, gold or Lithium.

From time to time I stumble across things, then I just watch and wait.😎

Yes, we'll done to the VRS team. The fruits of their hard labour and excellent strategy are bearing fruit. We can therefore look forward, if there was any doubt,(surely not), on numerous fronts imo. V well done Neill. V exciting 12 months to look forward to. The possibilities seem endless. But it's the brains and hard work that is making it happen.

Great RNS today! And as others had mentioned the notifiable (huge imo) part of it is the FAA approval! Has any other graphene company received this? When word gets out I could imagine major orders coming from the air industry and others associated!

Must admit this time last year I thought aero was going to take a lot longer to break into, however, I didn't take into account that we were so far behind with the information.

Any other graphene company wishing to break into the market has a long road ahead of them with aerospace. Now VRS have that approval it opens up the potential market for them so understand him carrying around the scaled down model of the component.

It should cause quite a stir in the market considering the weight and cost savings whilst improving safety aspects... plenty to like with the rubber stamping of the product in a huge market.

@neillricketts

It took us 3 years of building connections, test data and collaboration partners . That was a tough time watching others but it was and is the best strategy

I believe that given last reported revenues of c£9m, a transaction would have to be £900,000+ to be considered material.
So the kg of real GNP could very well have been sold for £40,000-£;100,000 without having to be a RNSed.
Am I right

Probably worth revisiting this article from last year:

Richard Branson on why planes will be made entirely from graphene within 10 years.

Wouldn't the specialist suppliers be the ones buying the GnP then?

After the market has time to read and digest the latest RNS this evening (many are not as obsessed as me and don't check every 5 mins) I have a feeling that we could see a good day tomorrow. Imo Chimp

"Maybe some fit out the interiors I don't know" - LL(48372)

Many airlines do, using specialist suppliers, at least, the one I worked for.

Probably a total coincidence, but I introduced the idea of light-weighting using Versarien's product(s) to a French aircraft seat company 12 months ago.

Who knows whether they followed up? However, I'm curious.
